Yeah I think fare ticket of this class of train is pricy as you said. Because those Panoramic Trains are classified as one of the Luxury Class, not executive class. I think one of top tier of Luxury Class. The highest tier of luxury class is still Suite Compartment (sleeper class) so far I know, and under the Panoramic Train there are Luxury Gen 1, 2, also the new one called Luxury New Gen. All of luxury class have VIP Lounge facilities for passengers at each departure station for free. If just to have a comfortable seat without big windows, free snacks, free coffee time, VIP lounge, and meal, Indonesians usually use executive class which also could order/buy meals & snacks to the train attendant with a cart offering it at every seat like in an airplane and the ticket fare is half of this class. Actually if you have ticket panoramic, u can access lounge at the station for free for enjoying some coffee/ tea or even snacks
