Anyway, if you want to get the best of your visit, then you MUST connect with the saudi local people. They are going to make your visit a lot easier than you think. I just visited. It's free before 5pm now and I got there around 4:45pm. They scanned my ticket at the terrace entrance right when I got out of the car. I found it strange because the area seemed super commercialized. I agree, you can see it in like 10-15min. I went to Boulevard city too. Pretty cool. You didn't walk seem to walk down to the fountain show area. I tried visiting Boulevard World next door but I couldnt get in. I tried 4 different credit cards but they all failed payment on their website. I tried buying in person but their "ticket booth" consisted of two guys sitting there pointing you to a QR code to buy online. Disappointing.

First of all, traveling using buses in Saudi is an awful idea from the get go. Public transportation aren't designed for tourists yet. They're mostly meant to transport labors for the most part. Second, I think you guys came too early for tourism. The country isn't built or ready for tourists yet, so most peojects are under construction. There are about 10 mega projects that are being built now to shape the county as a tourist destination as well as multiple public transportation lines like metros and new organized city bus services. I think you guys should come back in 5 to 10 years to truly enjoy it as tourists because it will be different and much better. But, if you don't care about your typical tourist spots then this is the perfect time and you should dive deep into the culture and go to villages and other small cities to meet the locals, instead of focusing on shopping malls or tourist destinations. Stay safe.
@dabbleandtravel Жыл бұрын

You wrong now is the best time to visit Saudi because is more authentic, in 10 Year it will be like dubai full of gringo
@NoThing-ks7oh Жыл бұрын
@@themagicportal9084 That's what I said in my last sentence. If you don't care about the touristy stuff then this is the best time to visit because it's as authentic as it gets like you said. Even big cities still have large parts of authenticity in them. But in 10 years they will become financial global tourist hubs just like london, Dubai, Tokyo and every other globalized city, and the authenticity/culture will then be exclusive mostly to villages and small towns that no tourists knows about. I know a lot of youtube travelers prefer the authenticity option, not the touristic stuff, so that's why I was wondering on what dabble and travel want exactly, because it seems they're only going to shopping malls and touristy places that aren't even finished yet. There are way more authentic and cultural experiences to see outside the big cities, but they need good connections to help them get around, meet the locals and see the small towns and it's traditions. Saudi has a wide variety of different Arab cultures compared to UAE and Qatar, the north is different from the south and the east is different from the west culturally. If you go deep you will find a lot of interesting things, not only going to shopping malls.

This is so wrong! Depends what time you are talking about, as I write now, the public transportation completely changed. KZbin it and select a recent video. And saudi arabia is not about transportation, it is part of the journey, however, getting to know the saudi in their true image, not the false propaganda image that you see in the media is the enlightenment that the world need, just like going to a museum to enrich your imagination and understanding of the past, it’s as important to understand the present

Do either of you think this sort of thing should be highlighted when making a series of videos promoting Saudi? Not sure if this is paid content that you're doing on behalf of the Saudi government or your own completely independent trip, but I'm honestly a little disappointed you've glossed over a lot of these very real issues so far. If they do not like what is happening in terms of development, openness and freedom for Saudi women, they do not have time for extremists like you. We thank you for exposing the dark side of your attacking personality. @@jamesmolloy6430 I told you, this is a policy that has nothing to do with claiming rights because it has been given full rights.. Saudi Arabia today, the whole world sees that it has given all rights and will not force the other party to remove the veil or wear the veil by force. It has complete freedom, including travel, driving, work or dress, and we are not in In France, let us impose a fine on the one who wears the hijab, or if she does not find money, or she refuses and demands freedom, then she is imprisoned. Those with this lady are extremists and do not accept the West, and it is permissible to expose you It is well known that those with the Brotherhood reject tourism in Saudi Arabia and attack it even if it is from Western countries, but their goal in Saudi Arabia is tourism in any way, and this is extremism and treachery by working with the enemies of peace on earth
