DAC ES9038Pro 120db - Fully Upgrade / Eimac 100TH SET Class A1 Amplifier

This is DAC ES9038pro kit , i have upgrade the power supply fully and replaced the IV with the sinkho and amtrans caps and Visay mkp caps.
Muses 01 for IV and Muses 03.
Reolaced HighPass Filter with AMCH MKP 100pf ( Amtrans) make be more transparant and clear.

hi~ed While upgrading my 9038Q2M DAC components, the biggest change in sound quality was when I replaced the golden oscillator with a Crystech cvhd-925x 100m. I also replaced the Amanero USB card oscillator with one equipped with a Crystech cvhd-575-25, and although the effect was not as great as replacing the golden oscillator, it was positive.

Hi, if you are already using the original Anamero USB, that is good, Replacing gold Xtal with crystech is very good for reclocking. Don't forget that Power Supply is an important thing in the network. The ES9038Q2M is a compact series from the complete series ES9038Pro with 8ch. Usually 2 chips are used in DAC.

Ed - Sounds incredible - I have to look closer at specs. Is that a akm Chip - Looking at dacs now - ( DON'T know akm or r2r - for head- phone rig ) looking at amps too - for HP - ANY RECOMMENDATIONS - VERY articulate and clear - with alot of Head - room - Space. ✅️👀💥👍💯⁉️

Hi Rap. you are always my dude 🙌 this is a multi channel dac with 8 ch from a Sabre ESS 9038Pro, not an AKM. I prefer the Sabre than the AKM DAC. This is a kit from China but I don't like the quality of the board and the soldering. and I have tried to make changes by replacing all the power supply parts and all the capacitor resistors in part IV and the buffer, they claim it have 120db but it have not. For DAC R2R it is said to be very good, I don't have experience, if it uses quality resistors with very good tolerances and generally uses SMD?? I stick with the old one. and now there are tools that use filters like R2R on the AD1865 DAC and it is claimed to be better than R2R. Ed
