Oh my lord. How does he just keep getting better? This is some of his best playing I've heard. His sound is unbelievable on this.

@fratavc5305 it's such a good feeling to play in perfect acoustics and this is. Chris Potter sounds phenomenal. He could probably take 80 choruses and keep you engaged with fresh material each one.

I have seen Chris Potter live 3 times, 2 in concert and 1 master class, the latter was by far the most impressive and enjoyable experience. Christ Potter should take note of this, people just him to just shred jazz standards all night.

Joshua Redman , Eric Alexander & James Carter are all true masters of their saxophones as well. These gentlemen, along with Chris Potter, are elite jazz saxophonists.🎷

Chris is lightyears ahead in regards to harmonic and rhythmic mastery/variety, technical prowess as well as the art of negotiating with the rhythm section as a soloist. I mean no disrespect to the artists you mentioned, but any listener in search of the above mentioned qualities will not find them there.

@jro1472Ай бұрын
What qualifies as melody to you? Nursery rhymes? Rachmaninoff wrote beautiful, haunting melodies that probably don't remotely fit your perception of melody.
