My little mini long-hair, Buster Brown, had a slipped disc as well after running up the stairs before we could stop him. It took a $6,000 back operation to make him better. Best $6,000 I have ever spent. Stairs are dachshund's enemy. Best to Teddy! ❤❤

Stay Strong Mum! And Dad just keep that warm lap open for Teddy…..chances are all the exercise and then Teddy relaxing until his muscles were limp, causing some discomfort and the yelp. See how his yard walk turns out? Teddy is doing great. And all sorts of things can cause a dog to yelp…..even a bad dream…..stay warm.

Dear Teddy, my love, I almost cried because I understand how you the three felt last night❤. But I 'm completly sure it won't occur again. Maybe you've been running or jumping for a while, much more than what you should. Be patient, you will be stronger, but it takes time and your athletic little body is very small. You need time. I'm sure that it is what your good vet is going to tell you. You are okey after your surgical operation, we can see it, it is obvious. I just beg you be patient❤❤. Dad thought it might just be a little muscle strain and suggested waiting to see how I felt. After our long nap on my favourite chair, I felt much better - no more yelping or pain, I promise!❤️❤️🐾 I know Mum, and I just know she's going to take me in for a check-up this week, no matter how good I feel now. 😃🐾🐾🐾 I'll be brave if I have to go. Oh Teddy, I did not know you had had a slipped disc, as I was away at the time. All I knew when i returned was that you were ‘getting better’. So i guess you should still take it easy if it makes you yelp. And poor Mum and Dad - what a shock! I remember exactly the same things happening with my two Dackels Chico and Muffin (they were German, born in Berlin). Anyway, I’m glad the day has ended well, and you’re feeling good. Aww sweet Teddy you need more rest before you’re 100% 🐾 When our Doxie Teddy was alive he often would strain his back and have to spend time in his “playpen” which he didn’t enjoy but as their parents we know best 💓 Wishing you, your mom and Dad a Merry Christmas 🎄 PS Christmas in Bavaria are the best 🥰
