A trainer once told me that dogs have a perception issue with black surfaces. Just a thought and a theory to try as the grooming table is black. Love this channel!!! Earlier this week I watched the matted dog stream. I fostered for a rescue where I picked up a small matted dog from a local animal control (our local AC works with rescues to get to dogs out of their facility as quickly as possible). She was so matted, we weren't sure of her breed. Let's just say that was a foster fail and she has been my dog now for 7 years. Turns out, she was a Havanese under all of the matting. Oh, I keep her AC in-take photo as a reminder and call it her "mugshot". :)

Hello Vanessa, I have a question, or maybe some people in the comment section can help me. I see you shave the hairs between the toes most of the time, but our vet and the groomer who works there say that it’s preferable not to do that. Especially in winter because of the weather conditions. So I’m a bit confused now what to do or not do. Hope someone can help me out. I have a 8lb Toy Aussiedoodle ( my first small dog- always had Border Collies) and he is the happiest dog I've ever seen which meant EVERYTHING was/ is a game to him (for his first year I had to muzzle him to grind his nails because he tried to bite it) ... He LOVES the snow, unlike many small dogs he ignores the shoveled area and walks around the deeper snow to do his business- what this meant is having to blow dry him (huge snowballs) every time he goes out so he is really good with the dryer now....also he let's me do anything to him and behaves well- due to my disability, I sit on the couch and call him to me, either my lap or the floor at my feet and he comes knowing if it's for grooming or petting or play fighting - I LOVE your videos, or rather WE love them

I live in a smallish North Norfolk coastal town, UK. For years I'd see a couple walking their 2 leonbergers, they were huge bear dogs but so placid and fluffy. Sadly I haven't seen them now for a long time. I wish that I'd asked if I could pet them.😢 Love your channels and get excited to see what has strolled through your door.
