Good to hear that you will keep your Duster for perfect comparison! I´m very curious to see what you will report in particular about the very smal engine. This ridiculos press testing is good for nothing (as always). However a Dacia instructor may make sense as this stupid (payed!) test people will not be able to use the controls properly or drive offroad. In Germany there was a jornalist who drove a 2wd (automatic gearbox) for offroad tests and didn´t even realize that it isn´t a 4wd🤣🤣🤣 Not to mention that none of them know e.g. that 2wd and 4wd Duster have complete different rear axles which makes a big difference even on paved roads. I was shocked how bad such 2wd Duster II behave in curves.😵‍💫

I have seen multiple videos from this event, informations given by journalists are sometimes contradictory, gearbox stayed the same/ 1gear is even shorter/ 1 gear is just good enough not too short so you don't have to start in 2nd gear, most are saying that 1.2tce 3banger is fine but I have found 1 honest review when journalist drove 2wd and AWD variant and said that AWD gearing is much better for that little engine, some were stating same weight as 2.gen, some were qouting figures about 100kg higher for each variant compared to 2.gen, interior info was also sometimes not correct (seats, options etc.) 4x4 drivetrain seems to be same as 2.gen (no need to develop and desing upgrades (saving money) since later AWD will have electric motor for rear axle) fact is that car's weight has increased but has less power and bigger tires that increase gear ratios, doesn't help in offroad situations 1 journalist said that clutch on tested car was getting abused and wore quickly, I can only imagin how long it will last compared to previous generations.

Muy bueno tu canal, esperando tu prueba del nuevo Duster, ahí si veremos que diferencias hay con el anterior. En una prueba del canal "Diariomotor" comentaban eso mismo de la primera marcha, que era mas corta,entre 4 y 5 klm/h,eso seria muy interesante,esperemos que el menor par que tiene lo supla con esa primera,algo ayudaría, supongo.
