Dacia Duster In-Depth Review 2018

I've just done 378 miles in my Dacia Prestige in the first 24 hours of ownership, and 38,000 miles over 23 months in my previous model. This is a fabulous car, and I didn't think they could have made such amazing improvements (in this new model) that they have done .. Absolutely gobsmacked. I love my new Dusty, with 360 degree cameras ..

@@mdluk199 I agree. When searching for his name on Google, I can't find much information about him apart from being able to see his public Facebook page which states he's primarily an actor. There's another Steve Dineen who has more of an online presence such as having a website and LinkedIn page, but it's not the same guy. He surely has huge talent when presenting car review videos, and I'll go so far to state he'd probably fit right in as a presenter on shows like Fifth Gear.

With the amount of borrowed cash the government is dishing out right now , it oughtn't be too much problem finding enough cash down the back of the soffa. On the other hand , we might have to trade our Dusters in for a horse and cart in a few years time when the economy goes belly up.

22k Euro for the comfort model in Ireland. Not that good value. So much for a single market in the EU.

That price comes after taxes and it varies from one country to another.

@@gabrieldobrisan2103 We all should be able to buy this car and others, in a EU member state with the lowest price, and should not have to pay a vehicle registration tax bringing it to your home country that is another member of the EU. Single market only works for a few and not the many.

In Romania the comfort model starts from €13.950 and the prestige one with leather seats and all the options won't pass €20.950

I like these cars. They are amazing value for money especially with the new 1.4 turbo engine. What puts me off is the model name Duster. This name makes it sound cheap and nasty while the car itself certainly isn't.

About 900000 people in Europe Nigel. And thats just the old dacia named after a “cloth”. The new one will probably sell twice as better. Instead of paying for a baby/budget range rover for 8 years and then not affording the bubble payment at the end some people have common sense and buy smart. So wise up, try it and give us a break.
