So yes it failed to give full results, why and what to do next it is up for debate, thoughts? We did got the turbine for free from a third party.

It could fail to give faster boost at low RPM in fact. I wonder if tuner has made changes to VNT duty cycle map ( increase PWM duty cycle turbocharger valve ) ? He could also increase post injection fuel in these low revs - this injection is for ecology and spool up the turbo . As in fact also egr off speeds up boost rising cause it increases EGT a bit also. And also retarding a bit Start of injection SOI also gives better spool up. So as you can see there are few methods to increase spool up of turbo :)

You have to change it to Ball bearing compressor wheel. Contact for this upgrade turbo "turbosystems" in lituva.

ce cod aveti pe turbina noua? pare facut un upgrade dar e important reglajul .. daca evacuarea a fost alezata cam greu sa mai faci masina sa traga de jos.. daca a fost modificata doar pe admisie un reglaj corect pe turbo ar rezolva situatia. va pot ajuta pt ca am un service de turbosuflante si putem sa i facem niste masuratori

Was that bigger turbo a custom one?(hybrid) Or was it just a bigger turbo from a more powerfull model? (I know that both nissan and mecedes use 1.5dci but they produce more power)

nu ti se pare logic ca un motor minuscul cu o turbo mai mare sa urce cuplu mai sus ? era la mintea cocosului ca un 1.5 nu poate mentine cuplu la turatii joase cand maresti turbina(daca putea renault nu ar mai fi avut 1.6(cu geometria aceea) sau 1.9)

@@DaciaDusterTrails no, complete installation of the M9R motor, with the manufacture of an adapter plate for the TL8 gearbox the volume of the engine is too small, more cannot be removed from it at low crankshaft speeds, it is better to make a shorter first gear, but this is very difficult and expensive. Only one way out is the installation of a motor with a large volume.

@@MrGoMario You can install any inline 4-cylinder engine, or a V-shaped six-cylinder, technically it is not difficult, the main thing is to set up the ECU correctly, it all depends on the amount of your money in your pocket.

@@ПропиковАнаварОмнадренович Here in South Africa it is much easier to change the gear ratios!!! Usually is like this: 1st Gear reduced by 40% 2nd Gear reduced by 20% 3th gear reduced by 10% All other gears remain the same. The problem is: The 1st gear pairs becomes very disproportional and on occassion it snaps. But it is not a big deal because the broken pieces fall to the bottom of the gearbox and you can drive off using 2nd gear 👍

Honestly, in any other country where the focus is on repair quality and speed you guys would be closing shop and finding another thing to do ,perhaps fishing...? I guess in Romania you'd rather stay in medieval times, or is the country secluded from the "21st century miracles" such as electric wrenches, knowledge about turbo powerbands and the existence of of lathe? to a point it was entertaining to see the mechanic fighting a nut, the turbo and so on but then it became boring and stupid.
