Most of my family drive cars from the Renault group, none of them have had any major breakdown, just routine maintenance. They might not be the best cars in the world, but they are good, I've only had good experiences.

Y buenoooooo a mi me ha costado total 22.000 euros el ultimo modelo el mejor y mas equipado con seguro mattriculacion y a pagar en cinco años.Es un vehiculo rapido ya le he puesto una cama y llevo dos luces amarillas encendidas 2.000 km en una semana.pise' agua lloviendo y se encendieron a 120 km hora.pero sigye funcionando bien no me estorba para conducir y no tenia tiempo para llevarlo al taller creo qye son testigos de presion de neumaticos seguro a tres años asi qye lo tengo hibernando en un garage hasta que vuelva dentro de cuatro meses.entonces lo llevare' al taller.No he notado qye influyera en algo a la conduccion me paso' con 20 km.de uso ahora fue' en autovia y una buena balsa de agua y no derrapo'.

Buena explicacion perooo...falta la retirada de la segunda fila y las medidas que quedan y es facil soli con quitar dos tornillos con la llave del paso de la rueda y entra holgada una cama de uno ochenta de largo.

Looks like you had the black sheep from renault... my renault group car (dacia sandero 1.2 16v) is now 3 years old, almost 50,000 miles and still running fine. Dacias are more simple and have less electronics, that's the key to their reliability. I agree that renault (or any other modern) cars must be a nightmare once they start having electrical problems... that's the price we pay for having our new vehicles loaded with gadgets.

3 years, and 50,000 miles and "still running fine"? It better be, its ONLY 3 years old and ONLY has 50,000 miles. Simple cars =reliable cars is the dumbestthing ive ever heard (no offense). The most reliable car in the world is also one of the most techologically advanced, the Lexus LS430. Reliability is determined by the manufactures values, engineers, management, and philosphies. And Renaults unreliability is a factor of all those components. Stop making excuses for Renault.

None of these means anything when the car is constantly suffering from breakdowns and repairs. Renaults suck in reliability. Save ur money and buy a Toyota or Honda. Avoid Nissan since Renault owns them.

Your experience gets drowned out by the AWFUL reliability history that's been reported from owners for years. The Dacia Logan was rated the worst. The Renault Espace has been at the very bottom for years. In fact Renault is consider one of the worst brands in history regarding reliability. And now that they own Nissan, Nissan are becoming money pits too.
