They are fine, we have a Renault version of the Sandero but sadly only one engine available in South Africa and that's the 900cc.

Ah yes, the 1.2 16v where you have to bolt off half of the engine (including the AC compressor) to adjust the valves every 60000 km. They replaced those bullet proof and easy to work on 1.4/1.6 engines with this POS. What an engineering win Renault!
