I've been saying for years that you do the pillagers first before the villagers to eliminate the possibility of any of your pillagers being killed by golems being spawned, but no one listens to me. Have you tried moving villagers with leads and boats? Running with the leads and the boat can pull the boat up and down blocks. You can also use elytra to pull the boat, just make sure you don’t fly too fast or the lead break

If you put a boat on a lead and walk across a bridge about 5 blocks above where the boat is you can sprint and it will just swing along below you. That way you can put 2 villagers in the boat at once and move much faster

ok, so vines, scaffolding, twisting vines, anything climbable really, for some reason disables collision with other mobs you probably know this, as it's the principle behind using them to prevent entity cramming but this also means that, the game doesn't need to calculate all the collisions with other mobs with so many villager chambers, even if only three villagers are in one spot at a time, that would still cause a *lot* of collision calculations, so having them in twisting vines means the game doesn't make any collision checks for them
