Hi! The reason why the skeletons didnt spawn when you had the blocks on the ground and not a staircase is because you were standing too close. Mobs spawn around the player in a circle, the outer limit of the circle is 128 blocks, but there is also an inner limit, which is 16 blocks and it prevents from creepers and such spawning 2 blocks in front of you and blowing up in your face. The staircase worked because it made you more than 16 blocks away from the lower blocks on the (also because as you said there is now fewer spawning room below the nether roof) but you still wasted the spawning potential of the 16 blocks below you. the ideal way to go about it would be to place them flat, stand more than 16 blocks away and lower your simulation distance to combat the mobs under the roof. ( i think, i couldnt see it clearly in the video and some of the stuff i said might be wrong, its been a while since i played minecraft)

Get to the end & use a block generator to build out & find the 2 items & bring an ender chest to get them back to your base. They say the dragon was placed on the center island & protected because it is the last of it's kind. The old builders hunted the dragons until only one was left, that was saved & protected by the faction of old builders that left wanting to protect the dragon. Mat pat even made a story from the lor of the game. Getting a dragon head & elytra is seen as an end game & I don't think u need to kill the dragon! What do u think?

i have to say this. I really like your calm demeanour, there is far too many youtubers that are over the top and that are overeacting to every little thing so this is really enjoyable for me

Before I watch, just asking, will the other series still continue? Having watched it now, great video as always.
