Thanks so much for making these explanation videos. I'm trying to build a custom Dactyl manuform in fusion and have been procrastinating this since at least half a year because I got into the same issues as you when creating the case walls. Your builds are also the only very nice looking dactyl type cases I know of. well done

Really nice work on the design. Simplifying these design is hard work. I have an idea that I'm not sure would work. Draw the case a a solid with the shape you want and shell it. Now you want to punch/cut all the holes. For this you have a single cutting tool in the form for the MX switch (with some extra cutting rims to remove any curves, and negatives of tabs). Use that to cut the shell. Since placing them one by one would be a nightmare, build a surface where you attach all the cutting tools, if would look like a studded bowl, or hedgehog of copies of the cutting tool. Then cut this from the shell. You now have two relatives simple things. One is the shell without the holes and the other is the cutting tool with all the switch cutters. Not sure this is clear. Keep up the great work!

I'm building a Skeletyl inspired board and learned a lot from the fusion file. I stumbled on this video looking for solutions for the case walls to avoid all the lofting and the explanation was incredibly helpful. TY!
