I’m a little late, but thought I’d add something. Yea, Icon are still around and are about to release a new song next week that will be on a new album coming later this year. And the sound of the new stuff seems to be a little heavier and darker than anything they’ve ever done based on the 5 second clip they shared. Also, Adam (the drummer who left the band in 2015) yes, he DOES play like that. I’ve seen him perform live 3-4 times before he left. That’s just his style, it’s him getting into the music and feeling it. He’s very energetic onstage and doesn’t sit still for long when he plays. But he doesn’t do music anymore. He left the scene to focus on family.

Icon for Hire is great, she might like one of their newer songs, Last One Standing. Both Lukafio and I do. That song got a video in February. Their first two albums were on a record label but they went independent after that. They are still around. What led me to this band originally was because I also like Paramore. Also with Skillet the drummer has her own side project on the channel Ledger.

Love Paramore, I remember seeing them on the Warped Tour in the early 2000’s when they first came out and their videos on Fuse music video channel

This was the band's first single. They have evolved a lot since then, but only the lead singer, REL, and the guitar player, Shawn, remain in the band.

Cool Song. Definitely a style of that time. Totally got the Paramore/Flyleaf feel for this band. Love the Karoline's Korner thing on the Shorts, that should be amazing. Great Song, Great Reaction as always, keep up the great work brother.

The drummer is just into the music and they are still putting out music.... also I'm a drummer and that's just how some get into the music. You obviously never have so zero ground to speak on.

@@OldSkuleNerd i can see that for the music structure. But Ariel's voice moreso reminded me of Lacey Sturm's. Mind you i haven't had the level of exposure to Paramore like you have. For me, it would be like listening to Nightwish for the first time and the only comparison, due to exposure, was Evanescence.
