There's nothing more destructive to a family than favoritism. This can lead to serious issues with the family; things like jealousy and resentment not only to the favored sibling, but hatred toward the parents responsible. This behavior can cause the one or ones that are hurt by this to look for affection from another person. And if that doesn't work, the hurt person will take an even more dangerous path that can lead to drug abuse sexual abuse, or even suicide. When it comes to family survival; favoritism must be avoided at all costs. Always let love lead the way before something terrible can happen.
