I can write books about this! Story of my life! It hurts more when this hate comes from my sister . I was ALWAYS there for her. Raised her 3 children and then I met a man and God!! I “committed” a crime!! ( according to my sister) I married him!! How dared I??? Jealousy can be a dangerous feeling. From what I understood, the father said he never wanted the son, which means he's resented his son before his birth because maybe the father had plans in his life, but was taken away. Wasn't his son's fault, but his own irresponsibility. I have done therapy sessions with clients who have parents that treat them like dirt while they want that parent(s) love, attention, or adoration. Worse yet, not even get it even when that parent dies. Very sad.
