Though they understand certain words at the base level, they won’t understand them on a deeper level and how to get jiggy with the second language. So speaking the second language with them is bland and dull, not fun, nor do they understand the deeper stuff on a cultural level, ethnic level, etc. People have really been stripped away of things

If I go outside wearing a Patriots hat, I can't get mad when someone thinks I'm a Patriots fan. Sure, I don't have to be a fan to wear the hat, but traditionally, Patriots fans wear Patriots hats. Same goes for how women dress.
