I love it! I got pulled over the one and only time ever trying to get a good datalog for a tuner with my 07 Spec B. (97 in a 50) And didn't have a license at the time! ( And THE ONLY time I ever sped since losing my license!) And the officer let me have somebody come drive my car instead of towing it, I called my dad. He is used to muscle cars and has a 4 spd 69 plymouth roadrunner, which he can drive like man animal! But it took him 7 tries to get going in my subaru with a competition clutch!

2016:I was out of town for work, drove to my dad to the airport and left my 06 STI with him to drive back instead of leaving it in the parking garage. The only thing I told him was to fill up shell93 only, and if he's going to play/downshift a gear or two before going WOT/ the 6speed is geared short & close ratio. I hadn't even boarded the plane yet after TSA and I had a voicemail about him blowing the doors off a mustang that tried to cut him off. He passed away 3months later from complications on a liver transplant from 2011. Miss you Dad, till we meet again.

Probably has a heavy 6 puck with a mean pressure plate or something in that nature. Getting out of 1st is a bit of a pain lol I own a 98 honda accord daily driver oem clutch soft as ever. My evo8 on the other hand is a different story haha comp stage 5 clutch on it only pushing 530 wheel is a bitch getting out of first. Might twin disc see if it helps. I feel your pain pops lol

I'm around the same age as your dad, I can definitely relate to driving a six speed after a lifetime of four speeds where you can tell what gear your in at a glance or the angle of the shifter in your hand. A six speed demands that older drivers remember what gear it's in. I've had my daily driver six speed for seven months now, and I'm just reaching the point where gear and rpm feel is intuitive.
