Tristan's passing was the saddest. Out of all the three, he had suffered the most emotional abuse from the dad. I already knew Gabe's fate when he was throwing up blood. That is truly a horrible dad

Tristan definitely suffered the most emotional abuse because he was the least athletic and not the image of his dad. I knew what Tristan’s death was going the moment his dad broke his guitar, the one thing that actually made him happy and forget about the emotional trauma and abuse.

I wish the mother stood up for the kids, maybe Tristan and Gabe would still be alive if she fought for them and showed that their mother also cared about them. Those poor kids were neglected, especially Tristan who definitely suffered the most emotional abuse out of the three just because he was different. The Father should’ve lost all of his rights to ever seeing his children after the abuse started

I wouldn't have wanted "Dad" around those boys, if they were MY sons...if anything, I'd have told him "What are you doing here? I thought you were dead - I disowned you a long time ago and have my OWN family, and I don't want you - nothing more than a virus - in it, so stay away from ME, MY husband (in my case), and MY sons, and go back to your cave and die in it, old man - and take your misery with you!"

I felt bad for the mom because she definitely was also being abused so I understood why she didn’t do anything, but at the same time it made me so mad when she didn’t even try to stand up for her sons and try to confront the dad. In the future If i saw my children’s father abusing them I would’ve stood up for them in a heartbeat even if it meant I was about to get hurt. This story was amazing. Tristan's passing was so sad I almost cried. The only thing is that the dad was still there i think the mom and dad should have goten a divorce. Although it would hurt the family mentally but it would be the right decision. I have discovered parents to and it hurts to have that happen when you are very young like me i was only 3 when my parents got a divorce. And they dont get along at all so it os hard to see them interact but you have to remember that you and anyone can get throung hard things.

Favorite one yet, this is reality to some teenagers out there. I literally started tearing up, and when Tristan died just because of PILLS, since his dad broke his guitar and there was nothing that could distract him from his pain anymore. This is a Father who shouldn't even be seen as a father, a father is supposed to be supportive. It's true what they say, "Every child deserves a parent, but some parents don't deserve a child."
