I honestly wasn't surprised that he revealed his true intentions. It was hurting to see how much of a jerk the dad was to him, and it's just as worse when the son got worse. It's so sad to see that he had to get his fingers and his leg amputated, but mainly it's because of that careless jerk of a dad. This goes to show that it's good to do sports, but if there's something wrong with the body, and if it's exhausted, that is more important at the moment. You need to take care of your body first, before you move on with doing what you love.

The dad’s pushing his son way too hard. He’s a jerk and delusional. My jaw dropped when he revealed his true intentions. God bless Brenda, she’s a wonderful mother. And it’s good to see Diego Mercado back in action again!!👏🏻 ⚽️

You know, it’s funny how some of us don’t realise how much our mums do for us, how much they love us, how much they sacrifice for our safety and well-being, how much they care for us, how hard they work to provide for us……. They’re TRULY the absolute best part of our lives. If only all mums loved their kids the way our mums do. Not every child has a very loving, kind and supportive mother.

My youngest son (he’s almost 3) was hospitalized for cellulitis. I didn’t know what it was at first so I showed my friend and she was like “take him to the hospital now” so I picked him up from daycare and took him and we stayed there for two nights. Thank god for my friend and the daycare or else it coulda spread and become sepsis. He’s doing better today thankfully 😊

He should have listened to his mother not his stepfather, because he has been pushing him way too much to be a better soccer player, he has been ignoring his mother’s and doctor’s advice about the infection on his leg and hand, but when it got worse, they had to amputate his leg and fingers to save his life, and his father just walked away from his wife and son because he couldn’t take it anymore, I loved the way the story ended with his team winning the game and he talked to his father about be his manager, he already has a great manager, his mother, so that’s why he told him the truth, good job, Darren!

"People aren't there for you in your bad times, don't let them be there in your good times" it's true, Steve the stepfather is treating his stepson Darren like a meal ticket, he doesn't deserve to be called a parent. I'm glad that Darren chose his mother as a manager

I’m an amputee myself! 13 years ago I was in a lawnmower accident. It caused my 4 toes to be lost, on my left, and no heal on my right. For 12 years I lived with the pain till 3 weeks ago I decided to amputate it. I was never able to do sports, but now I hope I can! Amputees have no limits!
