When the dads lawyer contacted him about the will he should have told the lawyer to inform his dad this. Well he is obviously his father's son. Because his father failed the same test 3 yrs prior when he came to him about his college fund. So since his father had already failed test and the statements he said about what he had expected from him in regards to going to college, he had already assumed and expected nothing from him.
@blindbrad47198 ай бұрын
Don't worry the story is BS. When OP turned 18 and asked for his college fund, his brother had already started medical school four years prior. Apparently now brother is in his early 20s after finishing residency, but it's three years on from when OP was 18 and started his business.
@miaa7968Ай бұрын
@@blindbrad4719 if they're in a commonwealth country this makes perfect sense. Medicine is an undergrad degree that you start straight out of highscool, finish within 5 years, and then begin residency (although it would be called a registrar). I do think the story itself is fake, but it easily could be set in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, etc. USA and 1-2 other countries are the only ones where having your MD by 22/23 is not normal

Yeah - except in this case it's trying to make us believe that this totally abusive twat of a brother was seriously wanting to become a doctor. I don't believe that for a second - he wouldn't have made it through medical school with that kind of personality, let alone internship and residency after that. (and he certainly wouldn't have had the time to "live it large" with his fathers life savings considering how little time medical students and trainee doctors have - it pays so well because the barrier to entry is insanely high to the point it often causes mental breakdowns) Also the male son and his male friends starting a clothing and accessories company..... I could believe tht a gay guy and his friends starting a clothing company, but with accessories too? I just don't buy it - especially as he gets this movie style marriage with a childhood girl friend as a throwaway comment which just feels like a tacked on story detail. This is what you get when a cookie cutter AI takes details from 100s of stories and just mixes and matches them, losing all the common sense context that any human writer would notice.

Good thing he doesn’t need the money from that dumb step dad’s will, and it isn’t worth it to go through that idiocy. Really, it’s best to end contact with them forever and just be good to his mom.

The father of course he has just as much to blame as the mother but when this man was starting to mistreat your child because he didn't want them that's when you pack your s*** and you walk away. But you just threatened him and allowed him to continually mistreat your child. You may all want to praise her or say well she did what she had to do no she didn't.
