I'm so happy to hear that Brenda divorced Bill. In her interview, when they were asking her about her marriage, I could see the deadness in her eyes. She was 100% DONE. She didn't feel loved... because Bill wasn't showing love towards anyone. Not to Brenda, and not to the kids. They are all so much better off away from him.

Bill is clearly abusive. Just listen to Brenda at the parent meeting. She has explicitly said he’s verbally abusive to her around the kids. Jo could see it too. When she said, “Your son won’t even want to know you” after he pushed him, it’s clear that she meant that he would want to live with Brenda and not communicate with his father. Just sad.

Yes. My stepmom has some anger issues. I wasn’t the only one in the house that got anger outburst lectures from her, the other people in the house got it too, as well as the dogs. I want my stepmom to get mental help, just like Bill should’ve done. It’s not always because you’re crazy or unstable, you just need better ways to deal with that anger. My way of doing it is to try my best to never be angry in life at all. Shut anger off altogether, pretend that emotion never exists in life.

At 10:54 he says that Brenda could take the kids and go live at home with her parents, that struck me as odd, most fathers would be of the opinion that the mum and kids stay in the house until the youngest is 18 or sell it and split the money because most fathers wouldn't want their kid's life disrupted like that. He's not that nice really.
@skontheroad

He meant that they would have somewhere to go--once they sell the house. And he would likely get an apt for himself. With room for the kids on the weekends. That is the standard here. But atleast he wasn't arguing for custody from the start! That was very fair of him.
