the biggest compliment they could’ve gotten was them sounding like brothers because they’ve known each other for so long and they said they wanted this album to sound the most like a band! i’m just so happy someone is seeing the amazing work they do 🤩🤩🤩

Kevin is going to LOVE their first album Nothing Happens, really feel good, lots of live instruments, especially with what he said about Wallows encapsulating music he wanted to make. Nothing happens is Middleschool and Highschool turned into an album and we are going to LOVE reacting to it 😭

oh HELL yea!! i never see people react to wallows, you guys should for sure do their other EPs and LPs!! and to answer some of your questions, there are 3 guys who are officially “wallows”, 2 of them are the ones you can hear singing back and forth, dylan the front man who usually sings lower parts, and braeden the guitarist who usually does the higher/more beatles/beach boys sounding singing, and the third member cole is the drummer and has sang one song himself off their remote ep, one single called “quarterback” and “i wouldn’t mind” on this album. in their interviews about this album they mentioned a lot that the two main singers would usually record all the vocals and the producer decided whos vocals to put on certain parts, and some parts are all their voices blended so you cant really decipher who it is. the first verse of “a warning” sounded so much like cole when i first heard it but it’s dylan! also the boys aren’t related BUT they’ve been friends since preteen/teen hood and starting playing together under other band names

I was always sort of on the sidelines of Wallows fandom, but Model really made them click in my mind. "Calling After Me" has all the makings of a genuine hit. One of my favorite singles of the year so far.

9:36 i just watched an interview of wallows and they literally all choose pet sounds by the beach boys as the one album they would bring on a deserted island! i love the beach boys as well and they definitely have a good influence from them. we love to hear it !

I just randomly saw an interview with dylan and he said he had a band...i was confused. I checked it out, and I immediately knew that he was in the wrong career. His acting was great, but his band was like a breath of fresh air. I needed a new band to get into.

Wallows has been one of my favorite bands since middle school and I'm in college now! I honestly wasnt the biggest fan of this album but I do love the singles off of it. I would love to see yall's reaction to Spring EP! Also some background on the band members: Dylan's the frontman you hear on the opening couple tracks. Braeden does secondary vocals and sometimes takes the lead like in Bad Dream. Braeden is usually the melody guitarist. Cole is the drummer and occasionally does supporting vocals. They always have a couple extra musicians for their performances though

I wanted to reach out and recommend a band that I've really been enjoying lately: Djo. Their albums, "Twenty Twenty" and "DECIDE," are fantastic, and I think you'd love them both. They have a vintage feel that might resonate with both you and your dad. They aren't hugely popular yet, but I believe they deserve more recognition. Little history on Wallows. They’re made up of 3 members, Dylan, Braeden and Cole. They’re all best friends and have been since they were like 10 years old, Braeden and Dylan are also actors. Dylan most notably played a leading role in 13 Reasons Why. As for the singing, Dylan and Braeden are the leads for most songs, Cole has I think maybe 3-5 songs ever that he sings in (drummer).

i think what you guys said at the end here really tied the entire album up really well: 31:41 wallows said that they wanted the album to be a model of where they were at in their career sonically, but still show imperfection (they added a spacing in the font: MO D EL) and i think that's one of the reasons why the songs got more unhinged towards the end!

wallows is one of the best bands to come out in gen z, they are very special and nostalgic to me since i’ve been listening to them since their spring ep and pleaser single. you should definitely have ur dad listen to their older stuff, but it’s all very good. they are those bands that u can play the entire album and enjoy it! love my trio band

I’ve been listening to Wallows’s since late 2018 when they played ACL and this album is perfectly cut together. And Only Ecstasy was absolutely a beautiful concert ender that made me tear up. Truly just a beautiful song so experience live with their lights programmed perfectly!!!
