Yoongi literally carried his alcoholic drink around with him while performing in his tour last year and paid for ARMY of legal age to have Hennessey on at least some stops. Have you seen the Nothing Much Prepared show when Jin was a guest? It features this young woman who just drinks and talks with her celebrity guests until they get drunk. When Jin visited, she went all out and Jin got tipsy but kept it together better than she did. It was hilarious!

Koreans as a whole drink A LOT, there's a very rich drinking culture in the country - which snacks go with which drink, the ceremonies and ways of drinking, lots of traditional alcohol from 5% to like, 70% strong 😁 in bts Jimin, Suga and probably Jin are the ones with the highest tolerance, while Hobi is a lightweight 😁

Jin and Suga hold their liquor the best, with Jimin not far behind. These three seem to drink a lot more than the others. RM gets a little goofy sometimes, and V doesn't really like to drink that much. JK and Jhope get cute and sleepy, but you can tell when Jhope has had too much because he stops smiling and slowly just checks out of the conversation completely. If I could have one wish related to BTS it would be to spend the evening drinking with them. I can't imagine anything more fun and satisfying. 😊💜

Those little gold saucers they were using are for drinking makgeolli, which is a traditional fermented rice wine. V doesn't really drink very much, though lately he drinks wine some. He just mostly doesn't like alcohol. Often after they do a toast, he will trade his champagne for Coke. J-Hope is not a fun drunk. He can't hold his liquor at all.

South Korea has a heavy drinking culture. In a lot of social gatherings, even work-related dinner parties or gatherings, you're expected to drink. If you don't, then you're treated differently or frowned upon. Alcohol accompanies most meals. The country's traditional drink that goes back many generations is called So-ju. Virtually every other "vice" you can think of is outlawed and illegal in Korea except drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes, but that's about it.

They missed the best clips of Jimin drinking - he can down a whole glass/shot faster than any of them and be on his second before anyone else finishes. The drunk RM twitter is classic. Jungkook live drinking and poison apple. Yoongi teaching JK how to drink Irish bombs. Tae doing the fancy drunk moves at Festa. When you have a group of great friends you can drink with. You always have a Noisy drunk. Cheerful drunk. Loud drunk. Lightweight drunk just to name a few. I came across the hype of BTS about 4 years ago. Catch up sucks when everyone out in the ARMY world know them the most. But I have enjoyed watching many of the videos posted on here. I loved the different Drunk videos made. J-Hope isn't a big drinker. RM and V were the same as well. But now RM likes to drink. V prefers wine. Suga loves wine and whiskey(BOURBON) But I think he just likes trying different makes. Jin is very loud when he's on the juice. But he's so funny. You should watch the interview with Yoonji(a female K-Pop Rapper who had him over before he enlisted. It was so funny. You'll enjoy it) Jimin is that happy drunk. But when they drink together this shows just how close the 7 of them are. People say they are a Brotherhood. But I reckon they have gone past that stage now, and are now a family.

The drink where they drink from pans or small dishes is a traditional Korean drink called makgeolli. It is a fermented rice drink that is often homemade, but you can buy it. It's harder to get in the US as it goes bad quickly unless it's pastuerized and the pasteurized version isn't as good. It actually has some health benefits if not pasteurized. If you make Makgeolli you can distill it, and that is Soju. Soju is Jimin's favorite drink... In the US, we mostly find fruit flavored soju. My favorite is grape. It's the only Korean drink I can get locally unless I make it. I love what Suga said once on Suchwita. He said the doctor told him to stop drinking. He said... "Well, let me ask you what YOU do after a work day." The doctor couldn't deny it and left him alone. JHope gets quiet after he's completely sloshed. Suga is the one that gets silly. With Jimin, it depends on his mood. He can be silly & laughing, moody & quiet, or sad & crying. Suga is the one that taught the younger ones how to drink. I don't mean that in a bad way. In Korea, the drinking culture is strong. If you work for a company, you are expected periodically to go out drinking together. But there is a whole etiquette on how to drink depending on who is younger and older. Suga's dad taught him when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL! 😅. Suga taught Jimin, V, and JK as they were too young when they left home to drink. Both Suga & RM's favorite drink is whiskey. Suga is a whiskey expert. JK loves beer and whiskey. But he'll drink most anything. V didn't used to drink hardly anything unless they were in a group like this. But he's now developed a taste and appreciation for wine and collects it Hobi likes wine but will drink other things. Jimin claims not to like champagne as it gives him a headache but he can sure swill it down!

Suga is more than a drinker. He knows everything about all kinds of alcohol, history, alcohol content, what mixes with what. His conversational show is called Suchwita "drink with Suga." Guests bring the drinks, but if it's not alcohol he's cool with it. Jimin & JK are the steady whiskey drinkers. Jin has a great interest in brewing specialty beer. Hobi usually spaces out, once in a while gets rowdy. V doesn't really like, except wine. RM is loosening up since hiatus.

Makgeolli is an actual drink of the royal court during the Joseon Dynasty. They drink the clear rice alcohol on the top and the commoners get the milky bottom. Drank out of a teapot and a bowl. Now. people buy it in a bottle and shake it up and to mix it. (or drink the royal top first, lol....your choice.

For a while, the drinking for Jimin got out of hand and went way overboard. His mates stood by his side and waited for him. He stopped drinking so much and appreciated the love of his brothers. :). Good men. They let each other work things out without pressure and just being there when a member needs them. You will never see the dumpling incident, if someone hasn't told you. It hasn't been published. There's not much we have on camera of the guys losing their tempers with one another. It's not that they didn't, we as the audience just haven't seen much of it.

Kpop VGK isn’t the best channel to use cos of the editing and stuff just cos I think most ppl find the editing annoying and cringy. I think BTS centric channels are better.

Yess, at least sugarmyy is quite good! ❤ For such a new army as Nesto I wouldn't recommend Kookiestaetas channel cuz they always add clips out of context.

Nesto, watch Suchwita episodes on YT. It's a one-on-one talk show hosted by Suga where he drinks with his guest. The original purpose was to promote the members' solo works, but he created an environment in which introverts felt comfortable to talk in depth about topics. Some of the non-BTS guests include a famous MC (who also did the Let's BTS interview you've watched clips of), a veteran actor from Daegu, and several singers. JK's episode will crack you up. And JK and and Jimin have a travel vlog "Are You Sure?" that premieres on Disney+ on Aug. 8. The teaser trailer is out already.
