They forgot about the time YoonGi fell & hit his ear on a corner of a cabinet. It damaged his outer ear & had to have stitches to repair it. I remember this because he had to stay home from award show & he was posting pictures on twitter that were distorted of the guys (most ARMYs think he might have been feeling the pain medication at the time) He was also very impatient with the show. He was like 😫how much longer until y’all perform? and empathizing with ARMYs about waiting.

It’s crazy that Yoongi was able to fly from Japan to S. Korea with a ruptured appendicitis 😮from where I live to the hospital it’s 20/25 minutes and I had to have an emergency surgery because my gallbladder was about to explode and what I know is that having and ruptured appendix is worse than a gallbladder 😮poor Yoongi 😢I’m so glad that everything came out ok… Jimin also with Covid, I wonder if he got it when there was medicine already the antivirals? Because I got Covid with pneumonia in June of 2020 and I was intubated and put in a coma for a month, I also had a plasma transfusion from someone that had already survived Covid. The doctors gave my family only a 20% chance of me surviving.. I’m so glad Jimin didn’t get that sick like me

I would say it depends on your pain tolerance. I had a similar situation, I felt something like a stomach bug for a while. After several checks in a hospital including ultrasound and blood tests they were not sure whether this is appendicitis or not as ultrasound shows nothing and blood tests results were just above the upper limit, nothing really crazy. Luckily, they decided to check inside as they thought that even if it is appendicitis it’s would be an early stage, so I was told I would have no cuts as they do everything through my belly button. Well, I ended up having a proper surgery (with a cut), staying in the hospital for 10 days with antibiotic shots 3 times a day during my stay and for an extra week after my release. A doctor later told me that I was lucky as I indeed had appendicitis and it was really bad. But the thing is that for me it wasn’t super painful rather bothering. No issues with walking or any other kind of movements. So I wonder whether Suga has the same, especially considering he was taking painkillers due to his shoulder.

Yoongi's shoulder surgery always gets me. Him not being able to tell...anyone...right away. 1 - There was a VERY good chance he would have been kicked out if he couldn't perform. Understandable, and scary as hell, because what good is an idol who can't perform? It's a cutthroat business. He finally only had the surgery because he couldn't even hold/lift a spoon...plus, being as it was during lockdown and the group couldn't really do much anyway, it was also the "perfect timing", too. 2 - With MOST companies, there is a rule about "no jobs while in training" because they're supposed to be focused solely *on* their training. Also understandable, in K-Pop at least (it's a whole different world over there compared to American pop), but the others would get care packages, when possible with a little cash. (Tae's...V's...mom would even make them food from time to time. She made gimbap, I think it was, for them for the car ride to the airport before Bon Voyage once.) Yoongi's parents, at that time however, were very unsupportive. He has stated he took that delivery job so he could have a little pocket money of his own. I don't know for sure, but I would guess...based on that...that his parents probably didn't send him much (if anything) because they were so opposed to his career choice.

I’m can understand the pain that Suga is talking about, have chronic pain and had two large cysts on the uterus, the hospital sent me home because of (the expert) didn’t want to listen or read up on my main health issue, instead me and mom drove home to my parents house to leave my cat at their house and then drive to the hospital in their town it was a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive and that is the only time I have passed out because of the pain, some years later I was testing a new medicine for one of my health issues and that was a negative reaction from the mixing with another of my medicine and I had talked with my doctor before I started taking it, my parents had to talk with me for over an hour before I agreed with them to call an ambulance because of the pain I got from that medicine reaction. Even the ambulance personnel was shocked of my reaction and how calm I was, we later learned that my blood count was 58 you should have over 120 and you normally have a hard time with your breathing when its that low I didn’t think much of it and was talking with mom most of my stay at the emergency before I got a room on a ward. They gave me oxygen until I got blood transfusion to get up my blood count. Everyone reacted differently when they are in pain and where that pain is. I have a tendency to be rather nonchalant and/or jock about it. Me and my friends that have the same health issues have often bruises all over our body’s and most of the time we have no idea how we got them so we jockeying about it others may think we’re odd. If you haven’t seen the SBS performance practice for their performance on sbs music awards 2013 Suga is not in the practice or the performance because of his appendix surgery, it’s their dance teacher that are doing his dance part, the live performance have not the best lighting, think it may be that it’s not shown well on camera. If you watch the performance from MAMA Japan fan choice award 2018 with the Fake Love intro, performance and dance break it’s the same problem there it’s hard time to see it. Have seen where Stray Kids are talking about this performance and how much they liked it.

OMG, I would rather have 10 babies a day that go through a bursting appendix. The worst pain I've ever felt. The intraocular lens Jin got is similar to the lens replacements you get if you have cataracts.

13:18 Here's another "fun" septum story: My dad went in for his pre-surgery consultation, and the doctor graphically started explaining how they'd cut this and that in his eye, and the..... My dad stopped him and sarcastically said that was a pretty weird way to get to his nose. Was he quite sure about this? The doctor looked confused, checked the case files again, got wide-eyed, and apologised profusely. Turned out he had two patients right after each other with the same (quite common) name but completely different problems. The doc forgot to verbally confirm the social security number with the patient as he's supposed to. Years later, my dad coincidentally ran into him again, and he told my dad he never ever forgot to check again because of that time. 😅
