Awe, I feel kind of sorry for this kid. That money could've been a positive in his life, a chance for him to turn it around, like taking some business classes, or something like on-the-job training, in what he likes to do with cars and automobiles. They saw him coming with the $$ and unloaded the Junk onto him, and as they were drooling, their hands widely open.
@anndeecosita3586

I don’t feel sorry for him because he continued to make bad choices. Could have killed somebody driving drunk. The vehicles were $4,000. What happened to the $21,000? Probably on court fees and whatever. Plus why is he suing for $4,000 considering part of what he spent was on a car he totaled?

I believe each litigant gets an appearance fee of $5000. If they lose, the money comes out of that appearance fee. If everything is dismissed they each get $5000. In rare instance Judy sends the case back to the local courts, they all get $0.

She called him an idiot because he got arrested for driving drunk and crashing the only car he owned that wasn't a piece of shit. If he wasn't an idiot, five grand would've gone into a checking account and the rest would've gone into some sort of retirement savings account.
@GSutton
@GSutton 8 ай бұрын
@@ThePsychoReturnsan 18 year old not having good financial literacy does not mean they are an "idiot." He comes from a broken home, and has issues that have not been properly addressed and treated - that's not an excuse for driving drunk, but it explains why he's incapable of exercising good judgement. No one taught him how, and the people that were supposed to be responsible - his parents and the staff at that juvenile facility (where something horrible obviously happened) - failed him. Where would like him to have picked up these skills? It's possible to acknowledge someone makes bad decisions without just writing them off entirely.

JJ is ridiculous sometimes. She thinks the cutlass was the only thing of value because it was a running vehicle.The other things purchased in the deal had value as well. Its not for her to say that because SHE doesn't value them, they all of a sudden have 0 value. And also, by the fathers admission he got the vehicles to a good enough working condition that he sold them for a profit. Does an expensive watch that stopped working carry no value? Once again she is making a personal judgement call, because the kid went away to jail, and she just does not want him to recover any loses because of his poor personal decisions. The father should be ashamed of himself on multiple levels.

It’s a bit of an assumption that she made a judgment just because he went to jail. It boils down to what theory under the law the plaintiff can prove their case. If he can show proof the other cars where fixed then sure but he can’t and it’s not his father’s case to prove. I agree the father is probably a scam artist, unfortunately for him he made the contract with him which got complicated when he went away.
