OK world, I'm just tryin to figure out this editing business because I HAVE SOOO MUCH CONTENT TO PUBLISH. Wrenching and (mostly) riding bicycles and motorcycles.
FWIW, I inherited this Triumph Sprint 7 years ago when a dear buddy lost his 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. Miss him (He woulda turned 67 yesterday). Goodness, there's a beautiful story coming about that. Godspeed Budd man.

Just out of curiosity..... How many RPM did it drop at 70 MPH with the larger sprocket?

I’m sketchy on precision but I’m thinking prolly 1000. Also the speedometer reads off the shaft not from the wheel so the smaller sprocket made my MPH really optimistic-wasn’t going nearly as fast as speedo reported. Fairly big discrepancy but I don’t remember exactly how far off it was. At upper speeds it mighta showed 120mph really around 100mph.
