Amazing grip content and a very strong dad ! Just a note from a Grip enthusiast. The 130.5 KG Rolling Thunder world record is for only that handle, the IronMind Rolling Thunder. And even that record has many question marks which I don't want to get into. This is a different handle and is much harder. I think on that day you could've easily gotten over 100KG on the Rolling Thunder. Same goes for other implements. Different implements from different brands rank differently in difficulty. Hope you keep on doing more Grip videos.
@NirsterkurАй бұрын
I have a few question marks: - In IronMind website, they have listed Alexey Tyukalov's 130.5 (287) from June 30, 2013 as the WR. And it is most probably what Hafthor quoted after a google search at 6:44. But in the WR progression in the same page, Mark Felix's 136.5 (301) from January 18, 2008 ends the progression with a remark saying Final world record on Rolling Thunder, V1. What exactly is this V1? and; - What about Mark Felix's 146.7 (323.5) on 22 May 2012 Bodypower Expo, Birmingham (the computational error on the scoresheet one which was initially erroneously thought to be 150)? And what about Alexey Tyukalov's 150.5 (331.8) on 30 July 2013 A1 Armwrestling Tournament in Moscow? It was recognized by Randall J. Strossen himself as per his article dated the same day. I quote "He’s long pursued Mark Felix’s world record on the Rolling Thunder, and now it’s official: Alexsey Tyukalov owns the mark, with a 150.5 kg success at the grip strength contest held in conjunction with the A1 Armwrestling Tournament in Moscow". So what exactly is the Rolling Thunder WR??? -- This is definitely the Grip Genie, right?

Wow, this came as a total surprise and truly enjoyed it King Hafthor and Papa Bjorn! Awesome selection of grip feats and awesome production quality! Hands down the best father and son duo there is! Also, huge congratulations on reaching 900k subscribers Hafthor! 🎉🎉 Here's to the next milestone, with continuous love and support! 💪🏻👑❤ _Also Hafthor, why don't you both try and get certified on the IronMind Crushed to Dust challenge? The 3 tasks are closing the CoC#2,¹ 20kg hub,² and 90kg rolling thunder.³ Martins and Juji can provide you further details. You will not need any training whatsoever and Papa Bjorn might only need a very little specific training in my opinion. It would be awesome to see a father and son certification on it, Hafthor._ _¹ You have closed the #3, hence #2 would be a walk in the park for you._ _² The very first time you heard about the hub lift back in Feb 2019, without any training whatsoever, you did 27.5kg on the Grip Genie Hub._ _³ Don't get fooled by this particular rolling thunder handle you have. It's from Grip Genie and as per many, it is way harder than the IronMind handle. Your PR 109 (240) was with the IronMind handle and according to Steve Pulcinella who saw your lift, you did it 'easily'._ _Furthermore, I feel the 4th event was a tie. Waiting to see more and more father and son battles in future, and a new grip event named after Bjorn._
