Colaz. There is a little town in Panama where some Jamaicans have settled. They were the original builders of the canal. They speak like Jamaicans with a patois accent. It's in the countryside. Their offsprings live there. Ask your driver if he could take you. They are mixed with Chinese also.😮

Colaz, that McDonald's breakfast food is called Hash Browns usually made with potatoes. If ur eggs are fresh, pick up salt and pepper at the counter, usually marked condiments or condimento for Spanish or simply ask the salesclerk

Is Panama 🇵🇦 still cheap 😊 .. i went to Panama 20yrs ago and there were soldiers guarding the supermarkets in Panama city. Is that still happening now?? I am happy u are seeing the Panama Canal many Jamaicans died helping to build it

No it is not that way anymore. Private business are guarded by armed private security guards, lot of company offered those services now. The new police force is very different from those days, law is enforced more like in New York City. Abuse is reported and dealt with. There are many people of Caribbean and colonial ancestry all over the country. But Panama is a melting pot of races and culture. 20% are indigenuos people that keep their culture but are inclusive in modernization.

From my observation, Panama is very Americanized, as they use the American dollar. Your breakfast was the American breakfast of eggs, potato hash browns and sausage not burger. As a sandwich all the flavors come together. Enjoy your visit everyone.
