I was a professional singer for 20 years, and then I was blessed at 40 to have a perfect little girl, with the voice of an angel....shes 27 years old now, and this was our signature song.....we dont sing together anymore, because I had throat cancer, that took my voice away.....but as long as I can hear my angel sing from time to time, I dont miss my voice at all....I passed the torch...after all that's what a good dad does! You both have beautiful voices, perfect pitch, and amazing range! God bless you, and keep making those memories! Dad, you should be so proud!

My husband has been battling cancer. He was in the hospital having part of his liver removed and because of the Corona Virus I was not allowed in the hospital to be at his side. I was home pacing and scared. A friend sent me an email and told me to listen. I sat alone at my computer, listening to your song, with tears streaming down my face. I have heard The Prayer sung by many different artists but you two are the most amazing! Not only do you have the most beautiful voices, you two have the most pure, sincere voices! You sing from your soul! I can't thank you enough for touching the deepest part of me and lifting me up during a very dark and scary moment in my life. You both have been given an incredible gift. God Bless You for using it to lift so many others! With Love and Gratitude, Debbie

@TheRealAussieBoi4 жыл бұрын
@@neonsparky It is them singing, its just not a live performance in the Video, the room is too big, there is little to no reverb/echo, no room noise, and just one mic spaced that far away would sound really different. Also, how are they hearing the backing track with no headphones, if they were using speakers it would interfere with the recording from the mic. I'm not doubting their singing ability, or that its not them singing, its just that they are lip sinking over a track that they made earlier, in a acoustically treated room. They are really good singers, and i would love to hear them in a live setting, i think they would be absolutely amazing.

I remember seeing this video the day it came out and I became one of their first fans. Savanna said she wanted to record this for her friends at home in quarantine and asked her Dad, Mat, to sing it with her. He had been out mowing the lawn. Savanna asked him to clean up a little, he said, why, how many will see this? Well we now know the answer to that. Millions! The most successful new duet in the pandemic. They fill our lives with new music every week, more albums and concerts continue to come out. Stay tuned.
