These stories are wild. It's refreshing to hear parents acknowledge that we're in a different Era now as far as raising kids and admiting the faults of the last generation, while still acknowledging kids need structure. Nothing is perfect but I like to see more of that. Hearing about people who actually lived in NOLA when Katrina hit was awesome. I never even thought about it.

BOOGIE B!!!!! A Louisiana brother!!!!! That’s a GOOD dude, man!!!! Thanks so much for having him on the show, guys!!!! ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ We all packed enough for three days because we were told that we would be able to return home after the storm passed. Never returned. My family stayed in the dome and was bussed to Houston. My husband and I were in our early 30’s, and set roots in a city we had never been to before. I am grateful to have been young enough to do so when that happened. I hope to never have to go through something like that again. And yes, we lost all our pictures and everything. Literally had to start all over again. 37:43 Yes, Tony is grown!!!! 😂😂😂😂😅 I am TICKLED PINK by y’all’s reactions to Boogie B’a stories!!!!! We’re REAL like that, and everybody don’t always know how to deal with it!!!! I’m enjoying this so much!!!! 🥰 You have to spank them sometimes. But you have to be able to find a balance between punishment that’s good for your children, and punishing them because you’re angry. Never spank your children when you’re angry, frustrated or tired. And it should always be a last resort. When you’ve told your child about the same thing for the upteenth time, and they know what they’re doing is wrong but continues to do it, they need to be corrected for that. But your children should never feel like you’re spanking them because you don’t like them, or because you hate them.

For job positions in non-profit organizations many times you have to provide proof of your degree because the grant that is funding that position makes it a requirement in the grant contract.
@uniquedanell2 жыл бұрын
And many of the larger (especially government) funders conduct yearly audits of the non-profit which includes reviewing HR files, and if that documentation is not included the non-profit will be out of compliance and could lose funding (10+ years experience in grant management and non-profit quality assurance)
