So little side note about this song, Daddyphatsnaps is black but very light skin, to the point that those of us who just saw him but don’t know thought he was white, because of this, allegedly, he never used the N-word in his raps, so their was a reaction to this song by shwabadi breeton mix and couple others, and when they heard Dps use the N-word they all freaked out and praised him

lol whats funny is I saw DPS for the first time when I was in like 6-7th grade and could tell right away he was mixed😭 I just always thought it was obvious😭

lol this was definitely the thinly veiled beef track. Slicks group dissed a few on the swordsman Cypher and this was released immediately after and while it is 100% accuracy for the character its totally calling out them. from the chorus to especially the last verse it's only thinly veiled to keep the barely emerging from PG13 anime rap community comfortable. people forget how fast the scene is developing where only 18 months ago you couldn't really even curse lol now its its slowly becoming it's own thing and is the greater for it.

I saw some comments covering the situation pretty well, except for a couple of things. So yes the original beef was on Twitter between GBJ and Slick, about the black anime character cypher. It was mainly a misunderstanding that got blown out of proportion by Slick. Where DPS comes in is he made a song addressing Slick, trying to calm the waters, but it had the opposite effect because of Scru Face Jean. So the Slick responded to DPS and dissed Breeton too. And while DPS did say this wasn’t a diss track, it definitely has that energy because of everything that was going on at the time.

So if I'm remembering correctly, in February GBJ pretended like he had just come up with an idea to do the cypher, when in reality it something he had come up with months before hand on a discord call with a bunch of people including Rustage, (which I believe Rustage confirmed when he reacted to the cypher on his second channel). The argument on Twitter caused a pretty big riff in the community, which is like I said where DPS came in. I'm not sure if anything that happened during this time specifically is why the shot was taken at Breeton too, but I think they explained in the song what was kinda going on there.

In short, the beef started between slick and Breeton boi, shwabadi and gameboyjones. Daddyphatsnaps is good friends with all of them therefore he got involved, which caused him to make the very subtle diss track on slick, which then slicks clique upset and then they did the Swordsman Cypher as a clap back and this is daddyphatsnaps reply to that and the beef was squashed after this. In short react to the Swordsman Cypher.

If you want to understand the whole situation, watch the Scru Face Jean reactions to the DPS Josuke rap and Anime Swordsmen Drill Cypher. It's all gone from Twitter but basically it was an argument between Sl!ck, Gameboyjones, Shwabadi and few others because Sl!ck thought they were stealing his ideas. I don't remember much as this was back in February 2021. Love your reactions btw!

Yeah Sl!ck joined the community and it was cool but he started a whole bunch of beef. Sad because he had the newcomer setup. He was on everyone's tracks. But man had to start drama and he couldn't handle the beef he started. So he left nerdcore. His stuff is still good but now he got the whole community against him
