Heads Up! We have this monitor and the short cut to adjust volume without going in the menu is the talk button then the left or right to adjust higher or lower volume (up and down will adjust brightness)

Do you recommend the vava or rhe eufy? Seems like they both need the camera unit to be plugged in. Are there any other options you recommend that have some battery capacity on the camera unit?

I noticed you’re not recommending the DXR-8 Pro on your baby guide website and have the Vava as the go to. Why is that? I was surprised not to see it on there.

My wife and I switched to this camera/monitor after having a wifi monitor. This has been a much better camera and monitor and we don't have the connectivity issues we did with the vtech camera/monitor.

Just tried the Vava and hated that it doesn’t have vox it drove us nuts all night hearing our babies sound machine through the parent monitor. Trying to decide between Eufy and infant options now. We love our Eufy but now I wonder how it compares to the infant optics

They are quite comparable. If you already have the Eufy and are happy with it, I don't think it's necessary to make a pivot to the IO.

In our experience the Infant Optics delivered significant clearer pictures especially of movement during night. We could see our child breathe pretty much as clear as when looking into the crib. Sadly the unit refused to pair after about 9 months in and Infant Optics refuses to replace/repair units outside the US. (Ironically, they told us it had to be replaced though. Not a user error.) So we were forced to switch to the Eufy SpaceView. It is comparable but clearly in second place after the Infant Optics. Image at night is worse and might make you check personally on your kid when the IO would have kept you calm and seated. Usability is also lower with going into the menu for basic functions. Oh and the european Space View does NOT come with enlish menu language (German, Spanish, French)

So with the Nanit disconnecting issue, the Miku subscription thing, etc. what is you BEST recommendation across all monitors you tested?

I'd run with a non-connected option like the DXR-8 Pro. While smart monitors were super useful, I've had almost no issues with simpler, non-connected monitors. Reliable and safer all around.
