@@DadVlogs copy past the core of the message and add some personalization after. Either way they will never respond to social media. Write their promotions of marketing people directly with hand written letters. Also, do this before the season starts.

As a social media manager, I can tell you that not a lot of companies actually put effort into their social media yet. You'd think sports teams would, considering (despite the large number of audience that are in person) they are primarily a digital media brand. But a lot of companies, especially sports teams, are run primarily by people who don't quite understand social media yet. So it ends up being that their socials are put in the hands of an intern or someone inexperienced, and they don't hire someone who actually knows how to run their profiles. It's really sad, considering the potential for growth is absolutely INSANE if you take it seriously. You have a fantastic product, you have everything you need, you just need to allocate some funds to put it in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing. But, they don't see the value in it and don't want to wait for that slow burn that is required with social media. So they will continue to do what they're doing. Especially right now, with companies already running on skeleton crews. I've found that social media is the first thing to go. Lost 2 different jobs in a single year due to budget cuts and inflation and haven't found another job in my field since. So yeah, all of that to say. It's highly possible you won't get a response because right now, a lot of those profiles are probably run by interns.

Maybe start your message by introducing yourself and mentioning how many million followers your JSTU channels have. And it always helps if instead of writing from your perspective (asking something you want), you write from their perspective (what will they get out of it). In any case, that's just my 2 cents. You need to write letters. Most places see social media as a marketing tool, not a communication tool. The information flows one way. Don’t forget most of these teams have a 17 year old running their social media accounts. Not going to be the most motivated and outgoing person and definitely won’t read any messages. Send letters, hand written letters have more weight than an inta message.
