I was stationed at Camp Walker in 1978. I was an MP and worked Gate 4 and patrolled The Ville many times. Not a single building or business did I recognize in your video. I had a great time there and have many fond memories of the people, culture and the food. Thanks for showing me around.

In 95-96 there wasnt much along that stretch that catered to Soldiers, Miss Lee's was there though! Thanks for sharing

I was there ‘85-‘89, it’s changed quite a bit but I can still recognize some things out there. Good times. No street vendors selling food, miss that part.

Wow! I was station at Camp Kyle near CRC in 2003-2005. They sent me to Camp Henry for that annual training event. Life time memories.

Thanks for the memories. Was there during 2010-2011 and that street before heading into Walker brought so many memories. Ms. Lee’s is still there!

I had a chance to extend my 1 year orders in Camp Walker, told them No, explained to them if I stayed I would end up married. I was young and wanted to travel and see the world more. USN 93-94.
