it's good but still SOOOOO far from gi's level of mastery. If he keeps improving he might reach a similar level eventually, but as of now, he just feels so inferior. no wonder, going up against THE master!

I don't think they're that different, but it seems like Gi put more detail into everything, like the individual rails and bolts and straps etc. whereas this looks like is drawn quicker. Maybe it's just his style. In terms of proportions and perspective, doesn't seem that different.

​@@theM4R4T gi's communication of volume is WAY better, his perspective is more clear, his lines, although janky, convey shape and shadow better. and gi's visual library is completely unmatched. all those little details, that understanding of fabric, screws, mechanical elements, anatomy, etc. is what differenciates between a good and a god artist. dong ho isn't bad by any means, it's just that jung gi was a fucking god and much better than dong ho is right now.
