@@thedarkblackspeedy3140 I hope so too, but because of season 3 likely having 3 major battles in 8 episodes. As the show runners have said since season 2 ended that theres the battle of the gullet first probably the second half of the first episode. And that will set the tone for the other 7 episodes of the season. They also said it will be 4 seasons so 16 episodes left. Either way I hate the moaning as it's still better than 99% of anything else on or coming. They have a larger budget for season 3. As they only had just over 100 million for season 2. And each dragon scenes are very expensive to make it look as real as possible and immersive. Episode 4 and 7 of season 2 the main dragon scenes were likely around 60% of the seasons budget. Definitely over 50% no doubt. Also they had 10% of rings of power budget and it's over 10 times the show of the billion dollar ring piece of power flop!! Soz for the long message but were important points people may not have understood. Lastly season 2 was only 16 pages of the book but they done well with what they had to work with.

9:30 could also mean there's something in the red keep Rhaenyra needs to ensure the prophecy. Maybe during her brief time as queen she uncovers something she didn't have access to previously. Aegon2 did say he didn't *burn* all the old books he removed in that scene with Alicent. Also, someone else pointed out, arguably Daemon is seeing Rhaenyra's death too. I didn't notice it, but they pointed out you can see the reflection of flames in her crown, and she looks somber (not triumphant). The flames of Sunfyre?

Here's food for the thought of a different view: the antlered creature is actually a manifestation of Robert Baratheon and the Stark house' rebellion. The head is blurry and doesn't look entirely human. Combine the guttural noises, the antlers and hooves, and you have a stag- direwolf hybrid.

Spoliers Why does the prophecy need Rhaenyra to be on the iron throne, though? The one who will carry on her line, (Visereys II) is already born. Therefore, she doesn't need to be kept alive to give birth to him, a la Sarah Connor. Viserys gets the throne, indirectly through her half brother, Aegon II. So either way her line continues. The only reason she needs to be on the throne is because she's the rightful heir.

Anyone who reads the prophecy from the source material knows that Jon snow isn’t shit, the prophecy goes: “When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone.” Depending on the minerals they carry comets burn in different colours upon entering the atmosphere, Sodium or Salt burns bright orange leaving a red tail. The Red comet or "bleeding star" happens during Danys case when she wakes the dragons out of stone eggs amidst SALT being the red comet and SMOKE from the pyre. fulfilling the prophecy. Daenerys Killed her husband Drogo out of merci and burned him in the pyre that gave birth to dragons, Daenerys drew Dragons from the fire As Kinvara says: "the dragons are a flaming sword, for Dragons are fire made flesh a gift from the lord of light."... just like Azor ahai Sacrificed his loved one to draw his flaming sword "Lightbringer". Jon was never a crown prince he is half blood prince at best and he is more Stark than Targaryen, he is not the prince because Rhaegar was never king and had already been deposed as heir by the time Jon was born, Daenerys was born a Crown Princess!, born to a Targaryen King and a Targaryen Queen she is the Royal Princess, named heir to Viserys who was named "Rightful heir" by King Aerys... even before Rhaegar fell at the trident, he had already been deposed in favour of Viserys, so it couldnt be Jon even if Jon-stans refuse to see it... Daenerys is "Azor ahai." reborn and the red comet proves it. The Stallion who mounts the world prophecy goes: -"As swift as the wind he rides, and behind him his khalasar covers the earth, men without number, with arakhs shining in their hands like blades of razor grass. Fierce as a STORM this prince will be. His enemies will tremble before him, and their wives will weep tears of blood and rend their flesh in grief. "The prince is riding, and he shall be the stallion who mounts the world." Daenerys Targaryen is called "Stormborn" because she was born during a great storm that raged for the entirety of her birth, not because storms were common at the time. The historical records recount that a terrible storm struck Dragonstone, the island stronghold of House Targaryen, on the night Daenerys was born. This storm was so fierce that it was remembered and recorded in the annals of history, leading to Daenerys being given the moniker "Stormborn" to commemorate the dramatic circumstances of her arrival into the world. Daenerys fulfils several prophecies there is no way around it the white walkers are the ice and she is the fire, she is the chosen champion of R'hllor and the Dragons prove it. And if thats not enough proof for you George himself confirmed that the white walkers are the ICE part and Daenerys is the FIRE part of the song of ice and fire... Because its not Ice fusioned with fire like some people think its about jon snow, its ICE vs FIRE its DEATH vs LIFE. the Starks live by the wall but they do not represent ice they are wolves. the great other represents ICE the night king is the great others champion and R'hllor is the counter side to the great other and R'hllors chosen champion is Daenerys. Daemons vision proves it was all about the red comet being the important event that brings back dragons, and Daenerys does that. Its not about Ser Arthur Dayne's blood on his own sword.. like please its way too far of a stretch like trying to force-fit a defeated narrative of Jon being the one no matter what...even though all the 8 Requirements for it are pointing at Daenerys and Jon only has 4. The Undying tell Daenerys obscure prophecies: "Three fires must you light, one for life and one for death and one to love. Three mounts must you ride, one to bed and one to dread and one to love. Three treasons will you know, once for blood and once for gold and once for love." The Last treason for Love could be the one from Jon Snow. Jon snow is nothing but a bastard, a traitor, and if the books end anything like the show did, he will be reduced to a kinslayer...

Just because he was raised by Starks to protect him doesn’t make him any less his father’s son. Doesn’t make his blood more stark than Targaryen. He’s literally half stark half Targaryen. As for the prince who was promised I just don’t get why it even matters. Is it Jon, is it dany, does it even matter? Neither Jon nor dany save anyone. It’s seems like a whole buildup for this savior to save them from the night king and neither does. It’s Arya who’s saved everyone. It’s Aryas training, aryas storyline that saves them not the prince who was promised. Without Arya the prince who was promised is dead, so it doesn’t make any sense to me. They’re all seconds from death. Daenerys and Jorah surrounded by whites and Jorah dies. Jon about to get killed by the night kings dragon, everyone about to get overrun until Arya saved the day. So for me it’s disappointing. Why make this whole storyline about the prince who was promised and there needing to be a Targaryen on the throne? When in the end a Targaryen wasn’t on the throne and a stark saved the people. One could say Jon was on the throne in the north but that’s really as far as we can go. By the way I hope I didn’t come off as rude to you, that’s not my intention. I just feel like the whole prince that was promised was a big let down. Maybe I’m missing something?
