DAF T244 Overland Camper - Nato Green Satin vs Matt - and Pneumatic Mast

Which colour should I paint my DAF T244 Overland Camper? Matt or Satin Nato Green, or something else? I also check out my new pneumatic mast.

If you leave that mast up just on compressed air then the seals won’t last long, you need to lock the collars off and bleed the air out, especially in a hot climate.

Satin in a rattle can looks different to the roller or spray gun. Satin will last twice as long as matt. Personally Gloss and matt look pants to me.. Cheers

Nice mast, don't skimp on the coax or you'll get reduced range with the antenna at the top of the mast rather than increased

I love the way mine looks in nato green. I'm just afraid once we travel to Africa get confused with military. Not the same rules down there, they shoot first and they will ask questions after.

I had a Suzuki Samurai Nairobi edition in mate green and after a accident the paint tonality never became the same. I think that the spraying angle also interfere.

BIG BIG mistake staying green africa is very sensitive about military hard ware i ran overland trucks for many year all over africa met many people stuck at borders cause their trucks looked military it is a MAJOR problem if you dont change it you will regret it i commented in one of your other videos please read this advice it is born from many years of experience as operations manager for a major overlanding company not from the current fad of overlanding wannabes that antenna is more sophisticated than much of there military stuff and will scream to them that you are not there as a tourist . as an example i was present and helped mediate when a BBC film crew had their satellite phones taken cause they were seen as a security threat thats how paraniod they are that antenna will get you thrown in jail for sure i would say conceal it but when that thing is up its gonna freak them right out
