If door means u hve to use this tall thin fridge just buy two of them & if u can turn/set 1 fridge down way cold & 1 fridge normal temp. U can longer term storage VS ever day use cool/cold deal. I love those fridges if tight spot to fit or work/twist/fit into.

Nice motor home . Love the fridge . We love the colour . Inside cab looked OK to us ,seems a lot of hard work to change the colour , I would gave it 9out 10 , 100% 10 out 10 once all the other little jobs done , we did not mind the window frames white but it's their choice I would love to have seen drive him to drive through hooten Pagnell village. Would have been a good test of his driving skills lol

We’ve got a really good sun awning Jonny but after Scotland i’m looking at how easy things are to reach and get out! Eg: the fishing rods buried under the bed. The handrail and the awning… all take effort to get out.. so i’m on a mission to make items quicker and easier to get out and use 😉

Hey, the wheels are 20 x 10" and the tyres are continental hcs 14.00, yes it's made a bit of a difference as the revs are slightly lower than before at 55mph

Hi Arron, he is planning a trip into Europe I believe next year… but theres no rules as to where the door goes, its all down to personal preference and maybe the layout of the vehicle or living area.

@@Overlandtraveladventure from being a keen caravan'r I know loads of UK sites are very strict on what side of the pitch your van goes. Always looks pretty awkward for euro vans and motor homes. I suppose he will be doing mainly off grid camping so won't really impact him. Stunning build tho. Something I would really like to do my self.

With the Daf’s they say you can keep them under 7.5t but being honest I wouldn’t go in that direction.. take your class2 and have no limitations..

Not sure I understand the renting part.. Heating systems you’ll need would be 3 240v electric heaters Diesel heater & LPG Gas heater Some may have a 4th which would be a wood stove. Hope this helps? Dave

Manual shift, 5 high and 5 low. Buying a ex military DAF in the uk will cost between 10 & 20k, having the living area/box only made will cost 50 to 60k… solar, water, heating, batteries etc will cost on the top of that! The Daf in this vid was sold shortly after making this video for around 70k. Hope this helps

hi Lee, depending on your age and the vehicles weight; some of these truck can come in just under 7.5tonne, although 99% are over 7.5t so a class2 licence is usually needed.

Haha, now theres a story! Ash never finished the daf and sold it. ((Daisy the daf) instagram ) then he bought a Man HX, started that and then sold that to then buy another Daf 🥴🔫… ash (man voyage 2019) hope this helps 🥹

Hi.. i’m no expert but i’d say an ex military base vehicle pre kitted out would start around 10 to 20k for something half decent. One similar like in the video with a box fully kitted would be around 80k upwards depending on the spec.
