DAF XF My Thoughts

I drove the previous gen, the 510hp ones. I drove one in particular which had over 700,000km the ride quality was still very good. Very quiet and smooth. I was also driving a K104 at the time and the DAF was better in every way, except power. I used to feel so fatigued in the K104 if I did a long drive compared to the DAF. I always felt fresh getting out of the DAF. Good to see they're giving them some more power soon, they really needed that. They don't score high in the looks department though.

there was a fire at the mobil coolac, not sure if you ever stopped there. had potential but since it opened the concrete pavement was cracking and never got fixed.

I find you got to manually change down a gear early to keep momentum up a hill because they love to hold and stay in a higher gear

Nice review.. that freightliner beside would be nice to see as well. Not many truckers actually review or have pov drives with them

Unfortunately, the Freightliner has gearbox issues, so will not be driving it again unless there is a problem with the KW after the trailers are loaded. Will do a video to show the inside and tell you my thoughts.

Great video, very informative, the only thing is that I not sure about a Auto truck in a Prime mover, i've drove a couple in a rigid truck and could ran faster hahaha

Daf is better than Kenworht..i am a Dutchman from Holland.. and i drive self a Daf, a XF 106..combi

You being dutch should know it was never called a 106 it was only XF all numbers where dropped for Euro 6 lol

Ive never really liked the European trucks been in them and can say K200s or t908s beat them in every way
