You don't necessarily have to drive 80 on german motorways. It is the legal speed limit. However, almost everyone drives 90 km/h. This is tolerated by the police and the BALM (Bundesamt für Logistik und Mobilität / Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility). They really do control everything. Much harder than the police

But what speed is the AI doing in Germany? From what I've seen, they're about 85, too. But best way would probably be to edit the Germany country file and put truck speed limit for highways to 90!

I much prefer the digital cameras in the DAF 2021 to the MAN TG3's digital cameras, as they have a secondary wide-angle camera to simulate the wide-angle small mirror. From what I've heard, its a pretty fantastic truck in real life too. Nice video as usual. Also a fun thing I recently noticed, AI vehicles letting you merge into a lane when indicating and letting you exit out of a junction is actually a rare thing to happen, rather than some junctions just being broken as I initially thought. I was waiting at a junction for about 5-10 minutes and then a car actually stopped and let me out! ETS2 is full of small details like this, its fantastic.

I also prefer this cameras to the new man ones, in the new MAN... to be fair... I prefer normal mirrors, they look cooler! Thanks Yeah... they, SOMETIMES, let you in..., but not like in real life... the A.I. in this game is much more angry than the people I see in real life haha

They use a head tracker (or rather an eye tracker with head tracking support) as mentioned in the description! VR support is much less common and less reliable than head tracker support across most games, and ETS2 is one of those. Head trackers are cheaper and a better purchase than VR headsets because of this, so if you want to have this kind of gameplay, get a head tracker like the TrackIR 5!

Yes, as BritishTrainspotting has said I use a head tracker, more precisely I use Tobii Eye Tracker 5 and I do recommend it more than TrackIR because, it's newer, has full support in the game, is easier to use and... easier to buy (for some reason here in Spain TrackIR is difficult to find) Here is a link to buy the product, if you use the coupon "nandocev" you will get a discount ;) tobii.gg/nandocev

I have used both yes, TrackIR does have support for these games, but no in the game itself, you need an extra program, it can (at least it happened to me sometimes) stop working, also, you need to open it everytime, I couldn't find an easy way to open it automatically while tobii does, the app is even on the windows store (free of course). For my preference, I just find Tobii, as of right now, more convenient, thats why I gave it a try :P

I wish those cameras were not implemented to heavy vehicles... I really hate them both in real life too, because they make even the most beautiful truck look ugly as hell and they do not give a better view than real mirrors, especially on bad weather and road conditions ... Thats why i always get real mirrors on my new MAN, MB, and DAF trucks in game too :) P.S. : Many real drivers around do not prefer those cameras because of these reasons that i wrote above. Especially all MB Actros MP5 drivers changed their first release Mirrorcam trucks with the newest L series with real mirrors ;)

While I also dont like the MAN cameras, I have to say I like the DAF and the Mercedes ones in this game, in real life I havent tested it as I dont even have a truck driving license. Although, afaik, drivers like the DAF ones right?

You have to activate developer mode (if you have the console you already have it) and then press "0" (from the numbers above the letters in the keyboard, not from the bloq num)
