Just finished a lap blanket for my mother using your flowers and blocks so far. She has dementia and loves her garden. It will be just right for sitting in the garden on a summer evening. Thank you, she loves it.

You are so creative. This is my mom’s favorite flower. I might just make her blanket of different colored daffodils.

After starting my daffodil do-over with the understanding ahead of time that I'd be crocheting the left half of the petals in one round and the right half in the next round, the flower part TURNED OUT PERFECT!👍😊 But... the square part is a different story because I sometimes tend to do things the hard way, jump ahead, and try to figure things out on my own (which I'm usually pretty good at it) but my square ended up being a WAVY (due to too many crowded stitches) HEXAGON that refused to lay flat! 🤣😂🤣 With that said, I came back to watch the rest of your tutorial before I frog all of the hexagon out. My attempt was not a total waste of time though because I learned from it and can probably crochet a proper hexagon next time. Thanks for being such a wonderful teacher with a beautiful personality. ❤

This is so beautiful. I really like the pale daffodil. I like that one IRL more too. I am not sure what my mother in law prefers.. I am making her the bloomscapeCAL blanket so i will have to find out some sneaky way to ask her. Being that it's spring and daffodils are in bloom, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. It's amazing how much this looks just like them in real life! Amazing and thank you for the pattern. I've been so excited to see what you had come up with. 😍

How do you get the petals to lay flat (or mostly flat?)
@SecretYarnery Жыл бұрын
Hi, rosalie betcher!! Pushe them up in the center from underneath - they pop and lay flat! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
