GOATS didnt kill overwatch, Blizzard killed overwatch when they basically canceled it for 2 years and then brought back a worse version of the game after promising us all kinds of stuff we never got.

This char is cool but I think her Ult is a little too op. It basically just outright 2 shots any support and there's nothing you can do. This game has always had a problem with one shot abilities for less mobile chars. I know it's a game focused more on abilities than actual aiming but there shouldn't be one shot ults and abilities like DF ult on any ana or zen basically same with Venture. She can already 100-0 any 250 hp char with a simple combo that you like can't mess up and then escape.

Just take cover like you do with dva ult or play a more mobile support. Her main problem is her burst damage and the fact she gets hp using abilities.

?, MF this isn’t an airport, no buddy cares where your going or if your leaving, no need to announce your departure. If your entire overwatch experience is ruined by someone climbing to top 500 on an alt account as part of a hero specific challenge that also helps gain mastery over that specific hero, your just trash. It’s one game, if you can’t climb because a “Smurf” was in one of your large amount of comp games, your just bad and don’t deserve to climb anyhow.

why would you ruin the game for 9 other people? just play on your normal account? it's so sad blizz bans for profanity but not for this kind of gameplay where a person actively decides to pay money to reduce their competitive ranking to go around the matchmaking system that is in place to create fair and even games. You’re right about the profanity thing… but the rest just sounds like whining Top 500 players wait 20+ min for games and just wanna stream the game to their audience so of course they make alts to get more games. Blame the overwatch dev team and balance team, not streamers who have found a way to play the game at a consistent rate

So ruin the game for 9 people in t500 instead? It’s a brand new character he can’t play at a t500 level yet. At least in lower ranks he won’t ruin the game for the same people over and over. Also, lots of these lower ranked players enjoy the opportunity to play with or against dafran.

​@@ghostface534 I understand where you're coming from, the queue times are frustrating for players at all ranks, its not uncommon with 10+ queues for sup and dps even at metal ranks. But this just further drives my point- there are 9 other players in the lobby that have waited for anything between 1-20 minutes to play a skill matched game with other players of similar skill and all of that waiting + the game itself is invalidated by the streamer that ruins the competitive validity of the match, you see that right? By playing in a lower rated lobby, the "competitive" aspect of the lobby is completely INVALID, its not competitive anymore, the same way as a chess elo 2400 player plays a elo 1000 player, its a so called "no contest" game,or a premier league team playing a division 3 team, there is no "competition" to it at that point. So why does the streamer showcase the new hero in a COMP game and not quick play or any of the other arcade modes?

@@Riverunknown For the t500 lobbies, there is nothing forcing the player to pick the new hero. When you sign up to a comp game, you put your "ladder points" at risk, if you as a t500 player chose to practice a new hero in comp instead of qp or arcade, then it's your prerogative to do so, every single player has the same chance to make the same decision, its a completely even playing field. You may want to exploit the fact that the rest of the lobby doesnt know how to play against the new hero also, its not a black/white situation. For the lower lobbies this is not the case with a t500 player smurfing. The 9 other players signed up for comp in order to have a balanced game where both teams try to win on an even playing field. The new hero pick applies the exact same way here, a plat rank picking venture also does not know how to play it correctly, and the other plat rankers in the game dont know how to play against it, so this argument is not specific to any rank, you understand that right? But a t500 venture will absolutely destroy a plat lobby no matter what just by aim, game sense and mechanics difference. I hear you that some players might enjoy playing with someone well known in the community, there is for sure value in that, streamers can if they choose organise these type of games using custom game lobbies, instead of ruining the game for the players in the lobby that are there to play a competitive match.
