TBH I think these toxic U2GM are educational, in a different way - it's less about Doom, but more how to play with a Doom, and how to play the game in general. This guy is Rank 1, it's ok to complain about teammates a little at that point, haha, especially when they make dumb mistakes over and over!

Ofc that's not true for us normal people - we need to work on getting better! And don't whine to your teammates ingame. It won't help, it only makes you and your team feel worse. Yes, offer suggestions to swap or make better plays - but having a positive/neutral mindset is wayyy better than tilting. Enjoy the game! Play to get better!

Yeah a lot of the time low rank players will hard focus on the mistakes that their team is making and not realize the mistakes that they are making. Biggest example is when your team is inting, and rather than going back and regrouping, you go in and stagger your teamfight even further

@@SanaAlll it’s basically the thing you default to when you’re not currently diving someone. You slam as many people as possible and punch out. You do this to build your ultimate and shields since you don’t have any other real way of poking like a Sigma does for example. You do this both on offense and defense. On defense you do this in these chokes like first point Hollywood for example where you’re bound to hit a lot of people with it. And if it’s too dangerous for you to stay there you punch out. In lower elos, where people are not familiar with this concept, players will use their sleeps, hooks, rocks etc. on you thinking you‘re actually engaging in a fight, but then you just punch out. So it’s not only a great way of building ult and shields, but also baiting out cooldowns. Even in higher ranks people will try to catch and punish you while you’re doing it so you have to be quick with your punch cancels. I managed to get to Top100 in open queue with Doomfist as one of my mains while mainly doing this and just disrupting the enemy team. I don’t know how familiar you are with Doom, but if you want to practice him before you go into ranked role q, try him out in open queue where you have additional tanks to help you out if you‘re struggling I hope my explanation was good enough and I wasn’t just rambling 😅

So overall this is decent doomfist gameplay, but definitely seems unlikely to reach GM, especially without placements. If he started in plat I’d wager masters 4 after 300 games. He whines constantly about his team, and was often making absurd mistakes. Especially Suravasa and esperanca near the end; that was just bad doomfist play. We don’t get to see illios, but he’s already feeding again, missing his abilities, I imagine that’s another loss.

Im t500 Doomfist now but I personally noticed Diamond and above is where people counterswap less and just stick to what they’re generally good at or main. Ironically I was in ELO hell for plat as that was the hardest rank for me to climb out of. Diamond and above was straight slingshot to GM.

But regardless they should allow it because alot of people in diamond+ on console use xim or any other sort of 3rd party device to play on mouse and keyboard on console. They should be banned for it but they won't because it's undetected by the game sadly. Reason I swapped to pc because I'm not going to try and play comp and climb high if over 80% of the playerbase cheats on console using xim hardware
