Great stuff Ger! I feel like players are available, it’s just a matter of whether Leeds will pay the fee. If they don’t make a move, miss out on promotion, and our opponents make moves it will say a lot about the owners.

The 49ers know how vital promotion is this season. I hope that they're just repeating August and taking it to squeaky bum time waiting for the right player or player's to be available. When has it ever been easy supporting Leeds??

The football finance debacle has today seen the Premier League are not charging anyone over PSR? Why? In other words clubs like Newcastle and Leeds if we go up will not be able to compete with the top 6 and clubs who have cheated like Leicester, Everton, Brentford, Wolves, Southampton etc……….. Will not get points deductions. Its a mess and Man City must be peeing themselves

Saw Bali Mumba play at Brentford last weekend. He stood out as the best player on the pitch going forward. Defensively he took too many risks, dribbling out from his own penalty area and playing dangerous blind cross field passes across the edge of his own box. Going forward though, he was great to watch. He's right footed though. I'd assumed he was just filling in at left back but if that's his normal position, I'd say he'd probably be more effective at right wing back than left.

Team confidence is one thing, but covering for unforeseen injuries is another thing completely. No one has a crystal ball to see what the future holds, but do we have enough quality in each position to cover burnout, injuries, suspensions for the rest of a really important season?

If we have to wait until late in the window to bring in Buendia and anyone else for that matter that would mean they would almost certainly not be ready to play during our most important 4-week period of the season with games against Burnley, Watford, Sunderland Sheffield Utd and WBA among others

It's a great question. Last two games there was no need to play a center back left back when there was a left back on the bench. But that's what he's doing

Only way to get fair play is to wage cap the players. Obviously premiership players would be able to earn more, but for example prem players max salary £150k and championship players say £80k, then they could make up salary on sponsors and win bonuses. Any profits from a club goes into development and to lower leagues and grass roots football. After the shareholders take their cut which would be restricted to say 20%. At the same time profits could be used to keep ticket prices at reasonable levels. Right now a Man City or Man U can buy a league position (well maybe not Man U). I suppose there are downsides to any financial fair play plan, but something needs to be done to stop the stupid transfer fees.

In my Opinion the Club should Splash Out big Money For a 9 and 10 These are the two positions that are important to every Squad. Players who cost 20 million + have the Quality to Help us now and For the prem If we get there. The Rest of the Squad is fine. Surely the Board know that because of we don't Go Up we're talking about needing a complete new squad

I fancy any business in January transfer window will be token gestures..it seems a new stadium 🏟 is 49ers priority over a successful hard granite faced team players,,,a failed promotion push or one year wonder back in the Premier league won't cut it with the sleeping majority leeds fans.I've become cynical since being a leeds supporter it's in my DNA..

The stadium expansion doesn't happen without promotion, so what you say about the owners prioritizing it is incorrect. All they're doing now is laying the groundwork so they can be ready if and when we are promoted.
