I ordered the hard hat cover for my katana after seeing yours and Pete’s videos. The kit came fast. But I didn’t get the straps and the parts that fasten it to the boat. Did you have to buy those separately?

Good job. I just bought a used 10.4 Katana. The bulkhead barely has anything to seal it. Someone used epoxy or some kind of hard non flexing glue to try sealing it. What kind of sealant caulking did you use? And did it work well for you.

@@garybarfield2981 LEXCEL silicone. Doesn’t get rigid or hard and can be applied wet. Very sticky though

does any body know if this hard hat cover will fit a Axis 12 ?

Anyone install this on the 9.7 Katana? Wondering if the hatch size is the same on both models.

Not sure but you could probably check daggers website to see.

It does fit however it's tight the stock cover is considerably easier to put on.

Most definitely

I mounded mine a little differently. I swapped out the shorter femail ends from the Carbo Bob straps ontop of the hatch and mounded the straps 2 7/8 down from the ridge. This way the buckles are not restricted by the hatch and sit in the opening between the hatch and boat.
