Just got my Jitsu today. It's sweet... in my basement for now ;) Just setting up the outfitting. Things I've noticed. Moving the seat quickly with no screwdriver is awesome (4" of play)! New thigh ratchet in the outfitting is also pretty awesome although the ratchet mechanism is beneath my thigh (I have large thighs though). The bulkhead foam provided is a b*tch to install but works well afterwards. I'm also able to fit my breakdown paddle with no issues as well as a sponge UNDER my seat. Happy!

Yep, I had the same trouble and after getting it in there and using it for a few months, I opted to get rid of it and redo my own. In theory, you grab the small triangular piece which goes in first, then shims from small to big then finally the big piece. You snake the line through the middle to prevent them from falling out. In all honesty, I MUCH prefer my one piece solution. Bought a big block for $30 and carved it to my liking. My feet now sit practically flat instead of curled around.

I haven't figured out my bulkhead foam for the jitsu yet, just got it a week ago. Got any tips? I wasn't really sure which should go in first.

Can someone out there help me ? I have been trying to find out info on a boat i bought second or third or fourth hand not sure cannot find the serial number anywhere , ive looked in all the spots that a serial number might be . The kayak in question is Dagger Element 11.2 it is a recreational touring kayak from the looks of it . I am a newby to kayaks but really enjoy paddling this kayak and would love to know more about it . Thanx in advance for any help i can get .

Not sure if this is even relevant anymore but usually the dagger serial numbers are on a small recessed area on the right side of the hull very close to the stern end of the boat. Some also have them on the thighbrace. www.dagger.com/eu/en/customer-service/support/find-serial-number
