@@SilentMustang then whats the point? Make them actually devestating or at least make the AI traffic avoid them. If you dont want to do the work for that then just make really strong hurricanes that destroy crops with wind. Pretty horrible implentation.

I look at it like this the train takes the load to an international harbor which takes it to America then another train takes it to Goldcrest Valley. The harbor on the map may not be an international one just a regional harbor.

The tornadoes seem comically underwhelming. I was more distraught over them in SimCity 2000. Maybe what farm sim needs is a giant mechanical spider laying waste to the land, or errant orbital mirrors that scorch the fields.

While I am still watching this episode, I have to say I really like graphics, ai and weather improvements. Though I would like to know if they made some changes toward realism - bigger impact of weather to crop (not only tornado 🙂), economy and prices fluctuation, crop rotation etc. I am also interested if there are some new animal mechanics etc. And really thanks for these videos! It is great to see the game in the action 🙂

One thing: Tornadoes are not forecast in real life. Stormy days favorable for tornadoes are forecast, but tornadoes happen in some storms, but not others. However, it would be interesting if getting near the tornado in the game would give you an info panel saying the speed of the winds and what the Enhanced Fujita scale it is. Plus, the track it is taking.

just out of curiosity would you ever do like a series where you "save" a farm so like you "take over" a farm that has animals and really poorly kept fields with loan debt, and your goal is to turn profit and make it successful with in say 10 years or something? just an idea for a future series maybe.

I’m a hay bucker for my job those are definitely on the light side for bales with. Our 3 tie is about 130 lbs(58kg) with some over loaded ones at 240 lbs(108 kg) but those are for alfalfa.

The tornados are the most ridiculous thing they could have added into the game. They could have spent that time making the crops look good in the trailers and when harvesting root crops. The potato harvester in particular looks really bad when harvesting

Yeah, I think this genuinely makes the game WORSE by it being part of it. It's incredibly silly looking and by far the most unrealistic and ridiculous thing in the whole game. I don't think a single person actually WANTED this, and it seems to be pretty universally either straight up disliked, or completely disregarded by like everyone. Legit, I have NO clue how in the world this made it into the game... it totally feels like someone enabled a half finished/experimental feature that was cut from the game.

When I’m harvesting irl I do 2 headlands but then again we have fences around our fields so I had to, I couldn’t just turn around in the grass lol
