Not sure if you’ll see this or not, i just wanted to say how much i enjoy these videos. Personally I fast forward through the Timelapse’s but I really really enjoy your commentary. I’d prefer you talk the entire episode. And the ‘boring’ bits where you look through the tables and pick out stuff to buy… i actually find them the most entertaining. Personal preference i suppose but i really love the decision making and mulling it all over. I could listen to you talk all day. Brilliant!

That would be interesting. It would be more beneficial to Dags play style. Chainsaw would have to be less robotic with his play style and do things that would be counterintuitive to the most efficient way the game allows you to play.

I’d like to see you and chainsaw start a multiplayer series where you both just pick a direction and roll with it. Don’t tell each other what you’re doing, and at the very end you both tour each others farms/productions. Weekly you could hold votes for events where you and chainsaw need to team up to create whatever the community decides: fairgrounds, shopping centers, roadwork projects, etc. These events can be completed in build mode/both of you must contribute (plan project together as a workaround to not being able to build on same plot while on separate farms) A payout will be awarded based on scale and difficulty of community event, decided by vote at time of event voting. Only objective is to create an empire wether that be in farming, logging, productions, or contracting, or even a mix of multiple. Do what you want, have fun, and work together

Once you get the new tractor and bigger drill I really think you're at a good place. what could be made better is planning the ways between the fields and around buildings. They do seem a bit chaotic und not wide enough. Which would require a bit more work and slightly smaller field but in the end it'll be more efficient

Having watched both your videos and Chanisaws, here are the main differences that i have noticed. Chainsaw doesnt leave anything sitting idle, especially fields. They are always planted in the same episode that they have been harvested. Chainsaw focused on getting the fields to maximum yeild as early as possible so they can sit there and grow for maximum yeild. Plants, sprays hebicide straight away, followed by fertiliser then being rolled. I don't seem to remember seeing you roll any of your fields on any of your series. You go for variety over repeating which gives us as the viewers something different each time. I dont really care who wins, you are borh great to watch.

Great video and from someone who has farmed irl, before the field grows clear the top of the field of the trees and stockpile them in the sawmill, you can perp the field before the next sowing. Don't worry if you think it will be boring or monotonous as this is farming, this is what its really like, same thing day in day out. Additionally I would suggest spaying with herbicide. Keep up the good work 👏

Nice Harvester purchase. Probably should at some point throw down a cheap silo, then you can not worry about what crops to drill and if it will be bland doing the same crop in every field. Just sow or plant what ever you want and dump it in the silo until its best price. Or if you get chickens keep some for food. I have just noticed something about the lag, maybe I am wrong, maybe not. But at 13:24 when you are lagging, Chainsaw also lags on his video ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4iqlmWLradgitU ). Game time is 11:56AM. However your latency is over 250ms, Chainsaws around 45ms and his lag doesnt seem to be as bad. This is the part I am not sure about... But doesnt FS22 sync all players to the slowest player on the server, therefore if one player lags all players lag with them? If FS22 doesnt sync to the slowest player then cant really be a plausible cause. But if it does, and your connection (being Mobile Wireless Data) does lag, it will cause Chainsaw to lag at the exact same time even if they have a stable connection. I know at least over here in Australia, mobile broadband data is not really reliable for continuous stable low latency gaming, if FS22 does sync to the connection of the worst player connected then indeed your connection could cause Chainsaw to lag. Perhaps its much better over in the UK, if so then ignore this. Just a theory. again at 22:20 (game Time of 14:57PM), your latency when lagging spikes to almost 400 from its normal non lagging 27-35ms. Chainsaw lags at the exact same time only this time unlike the last his latency also jumped to 123ms whereas it didnt previously.
@eenbeenmaster8336
@eenbeenmaster8336 Жыл бұрын
Where I'm from mobile data also doesn't do well fir long periods I also think it's the thing that causes the spikes But even so, some lag spikes every now and then isn't worth buying a router imo If it ain't broken to the point of legitimate frustration, then don't fix it 😂
@MrGeneralScar
@MrGeneralScar Жыл бұрын
@@eenbeenmaster8336 Also Mobile data may well be the only feasible connection type where Daggerwin is located. Perhaps other respectably priced connection types are not available. He already said he considered Starlink, which is awesome when I use it for my country trips. But the cost of the hardware and the plans is so much he cant justify it, which is fair enough. I was just merely pointing out that if FS22 is a game that does sync the entire game play to the slowest connected player, when that player lags all players will lag with them. It was the same way back in the '90s when I used to play C&C Gold over 14.4 modem link with my mate, his PC was more powerful than mine and his entire game was slowed down to match my games max speed. If I had graphical lag spikes so would he despite his PC being much more powerful at the time.

I have a good tip. If you harvest on an angle, for example, if you start at the bottom-left of a field and head to the top-right, you get a bigger yield where the digits of the crop quantity race up faster. If you drive a seeder and start at the bottom-left and head to the top-left and head back down where you'll have lines going up and down and field and harvest in that method from the bottom-left and head to the top-left, the yield is smaller where the digits of the crop quantity will go up slower. Even if you start at the bottom-right and head to the top-left, or the top-left to the bottom right or from the top-right to the bottom-left, your yield will be bigger. I discovered this is FS 17 years ago. Also, forget doing sweet beat and potatoes because they are not worth it. You'll lose money instead of making it. For example, years ago in FS 17, a field I had, the potato seeder ran out in a matter of minutes and I was constantly filling it up and it cost over £10,000 each time. I must have spent about £150,000 for the sowing. I only made about £70,000 on the potatoes and it cost more to grow them than it did to sell the potatoes where I lost a lot of money instead of making it. Not to mention the harvester costs nearly £450,000. The sweet beat has the same problem. Sugar cane makes crap money. I prefer soybeans a flax. With flax, you also get straw from it for extra cash. Peas sell well but they cost more to plant. Every time I start a map, I take out a massive loan and sell the stuff I don't want and I buy better stuff with my loan and with what I made with the crap provided in the first place. The loan interest are small. Then I get some more loans to buy more fields and I finally get more money coming in like a champ from my soybeans and my flax and before I know it, I can afford more fields without taking out another loan even though I still owe money. I pay it off when I own all the fields and I feel I get things moving faster and I make tons more money this way even when I still have loan interests. It might sound strange, however, my method does work. If I was going to buy more fields without any loans, it would take me longer to afford to buy more fields at an early stage with less money made. For the sake of another loan and affording another field and again, I buy more fields and I have more money comiig in with my next harvest. I always buy fields with a crop already on it so that when I harvest the crop, the money I make helps me get back some of the money I spent on the field.

I'm glad you went for the full HP and it is a decent harvester. If it were me I would have sold the silage and got the better one though. A couple hundred thousand difference now means little in the long run, you just would have had to wait for the row crops a little longer and planned accordingly. But hey, good move anyway, that harvester will save a ton of time, gas and maintenance.

And as so many others have said, keep the international as the loader tractor and sell the small MF which is useless now. Then you will have a tractor that can run some implements if needed.

It is not like you got there through hard work, it was from massively unbalanced productions that have really ruined this series by making it all too easy. The winner of this series is whoever is most efficient at keeping their greenhouse and sawmill topped up. That is the only thing that matters, they make so much more than any crop. Still enjoy watching though, all those fields with different growth stages is fun.

Don't buy a new drill, this one has a special attachment in "Others" category, which allows you to hook up two of them for a significantly cheaper price than a new drill

Do you run your own server? Maybe upgrade the speed of the internet so we don't have to hear excuses about the lag :) or team up with a game server company

Did you stop adding these videos to this playlist? I saw Episode 52 released today, but this playlist only goes up to Episode 22... Means I'll have to dig through your Uploads list to watch past Ep 22.
